1. I somewhat fascinated by what looks like Spiderman sitting on the sofa, and a 1980s hairdressing book on the floor. :-)
2. Shame, it's a good price. By the way, I've had four Sterlings in my possession over the years and they were all definitely different weights, so they must use different woods. My one and only and first true love is the heaviest of them all, but has a tone to die for.
3. I think WH may finally have found his Sterling. Still my #1 gigging bass of choice.
4. If anyone can make use of a Toshiba 28" widescreen CRT TV, I have one going free. It has the remote control and some rear speakers which I assume is something like Pro Logic. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's just surplus to requirements. I may even be able to deliver to someone locally. Anyone interested PM me.
5. Great amp! I wouldn't part with mine for anything, and it pairs perfectly with my Barefaced Compact and Midget - If three things can be paired. Good look with the sale.
6.
I hate DJ's so rarely listen to the radio, if I don't have a choice then I tune to Radio 3 or what was Virgin. I don't own a TV and don't watch films . I live a sheltered life LOL.
I'm with you, but I do own a TV but don't have an aerial. Broadcast TV is overrated.
7. Can you elaborate on what is different about the neck to your VM Jazz? I'm quite interested in one of these and used to own a VMJ.
8. Great head, I love mine. Good price too.
9.
I'm selling one if that helps
Sorry, just bought a Barefaced Midget and a flight to LA over Christmas, so not in the market right now. Good luck with the sale, though.
10. With funkier band 99.9% of the time we open with Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf, but have found it's a bit of a waste as it works well in the 2nd set when the crowd have loosened up a little. With the female fronted rock band it's been Hanging on the Telephone by Blondie for a the last few gigs at least.
11. I've never really worried about the look of my bass fitting in with whichever band I'm playing with as long as I like the look of it and this is a beautiful bass.
12.
Love the Modulus! just not really loving the silver sparkle finish right now...
Hell, I love the sparkle finish ones. Mine is a tobacco sunburst but I'd love a sparkle one, particularly the blue or purple!

Prices are non negotiable. Thanks No beer is included in the deal.
Always read the small print.
14.
Thanks! I'm really loving this bass right now, but i had the chance to play a modulus bass in the local shop today and the neck fitted the fast playing style of my new band perfectly, if i had loads of money i would buy the Modulus and keep the sterling as well since the Modulus had a really nice neck ,but also had a more sterile sound than the Musicman, but since i already had to save up for almost a year just to be able to buy this one i guess that's not an option...
I own both of these basses and whilst I love the Flea because of the neck and the weight of the body, I think the Sterling has much more personality and grit in its tone, and for that reason it's the bass I always come back to in the end. If buying a Flea is your reason for selling, I would keep the Sterling personally,
15. Again? Good luck with the sale. Everyone knows these cabs are a good set-up. I hope your new house is as nice as the last one!
