1. Odd. I had an official MM Sterling case that I picked up from Shockwave and that definitely fitted his Stringray too. Perhaps my case was an older version or something - that said, the Sterling body is significantly smaller than the Stingray.
2.
That is ridiculously good value for a superb cab- somebody grab this quick!
+1
3. Jeez, with a name like "BIG PEDAL SALE" I was expecting there to be a longer list.

JTUK Feedback

I hope I'm not duplicating a thread here but I did check and couldn't find anything. Anyhow, I met John on Saturday to sell him my Aguilar GS112 cab and it was a smooth, simple transaction. John is a friendly, honest BC'er who was happy to stop and chat all things bass. All the best John.
5. Alan made a pretty long journey to Coventry to pick up my Aguilar GS112NT cab. Very friendly, warm guy with absolutely no messing - I only hope he got back home before the imminent birth of his grandchild! All the best Alan.
6. What can I say? I put a wanted thread out there asking for a shoulder strap for my two warwick gig bags as all three of my straps had broken. Steve sent me one for absolutely nothing and was adamant he would not even take money for the postage! This guy is the salt of the earth and a real community spritied individual, please treat him with the respect he deserves as he saved me a lot of cash from buying a new gig bag.
7.
What boils my potatoes is this trend for bogus 'relic-ing'. Pathetic.
Yeah, the guy last night had some mockneyed '77 Jazz - at least his hand gestures suggested so.
8.
Trawling through my local musical instrument listings I came across this... ...State-Of-The-Art Air Guitar. Postage is a bit steep though.
I was at Rock City in Nottingham last Saturday night and quite a few people brought their own along for the dance floor. I think they're becoming popular again as I saw a friend's band play last night and their singer had one too.
9. And a bump from me. Whoever buys this will not regret it.
10. I was connected to my Barefaced Compact but I've checked that and it still works fine.
11. Now for sale, £425 for the pair. Need money to pay for the amp I managed to mangle last night.
12. Damn! Thanks though, I'll give Mark a call.
13. Had a rehearsal tonight and somehow managed to yank my Markbass SA450 off the top of my cab and onto the floor. I believe the problem is the jack socket as my lead end became bent and the socket looks misaligned. I can hear something coming out through the cab but only just so I think there's a connection issue. My main repair guy isn't back until Friday and he's normally pretty busy so I don't reckon I'll get it back in time for a rehearsal next Tuesday. Can anyone recommend someone reasonably local to Coventry that might be able to take a look? I really could do without this hassle as I was trying to decide whether to keep my Aggie GS112 cabs and sell my newly acquired Barefaced Compact, or vice versa!
14. Great basses, I absolutely adore mine. Good luck with the sale\trade\whatever.
15.
Cheers mate - do you think the price is fair? I think so - bass is in great shape. I really thought this would have been snapped up. Would maybe consider (very!) near offer.
If it's the amount you're looking for, then it's fair. Seriously though, it's not an excessive amount considering the retail price for one of these babies. I'm sure you'll get some offers soon.
16. It's very pretty. Good luck with the sale.
17. Thanks again to everyone for all the PMs and apologies for not replying at the moment but there have been quite a few. Several of them are asking for specific prices of the cabs which I don't really want to give at the moment until I'm sure they're for sale, as this is currently a feeler after all. Once I've made the decision and if it is to sell them, in the interests of fairness I promise to treat all interest in the chronological order it came in, either by PM or notes added to this thread. As I mentioned previously, I have several rehearsals this week and should have an idea by the end of Weds at the latest.

21.
That compact must be seriously nice as I know you really liked the GS cabs - no problem using the photo and best of luck. Guess I better consider trying a compact eh J
Thanks Jas. I do really still love the cabs but I wanted to try a compact and I can't justify owning two complete rigs. I have a rock band rehearsal on Tuesday and a funk band rehearsal on Wednesday, so after using the Compact for these I'll know whether it really is for me or not. Thanks to everyone for the interest and the PMs and I should have a clearer picture midweek as to whether or not the Aguilar cabs are going, or if the Compact just isn't for me - and if it is, I think I'll invest in a second one. Also, if it's the Aggies that are going, I'll come up with a price based on what I paid Jas and taking into account a small amount of depreciation. Priority will probably go to people willing to take both of them. Cheers Rob

23. I just bought Steve's Barefaced Compact cab for a very reasonable price and it was a nice simple transaction. He's a great guy who even let me stay and watch the Manchester derby while he grooved on my Sterling. Thanks Steve
