1. They look very pretty to me. The jack socket location seems so much more sensible too.
2.
Oh, I see. In that case you won't be disappointed! The 2 Compacts stacked on top of each other are great. The output power is truly trouser flapping Back on track with this topic - I think I may need to get some of these Iso blocks...
I got my second cab today and only turned the SA450 up to 9 o'clock but I genuinely feared I would be causing structural damage to my house! These Compact cabs really are amazing - I think I've finally found the cabs I've been looking for! Also back on track, I will definitely be getting hold of some of these blocks too very soon.
3. It's possible to juggle more than one busy band as long as they both understand that it's first come first served in the gig booking department. I have two on the go and am actively seeking a third simply because I really enjoy gigging as long as it's with a quality band. However, if you'd rather be going out on a Friday or Saturday night and letting your hair down with your friends instead, then it's potentially a lonely old X miles drive home at 2am in the middle February - especially after a night in front of an unappreciative crowd.
4. I had one of these which I sold a few years back, didn't realise they were so rare. It was taken to a few hotels around Europe and was a talking point at airports seeing as the carry bag looked like it had some kind of rifle inside.
5. I had the Squier VMJ, no complaints here, all original hardware and gigged many times with no problems at all. Only sold it to fund a more expensive bass purchase and would happily own another - although I really like the look of the Classic Vibe Jazz.
6.
One pair will be fine. Alex
Then I think I'll be in touch soon to order.
Hey Rowbee, I've got the exact same setup! How you getting on with yours? I love the combination and sounds coming out of it. Cheers, Jon
Hi Jon. I currently have the one cab but am picking up the other one next week. To be honest I'm happy for most gigs with just the one but worry that there may be occasions on larger gigs where I might just need that little bit more. In terms of sound, I think the combination of amp and cab is superb and the fact that I can carry all the kit I'll need for the night from car to venue in one go is a huge bonus.
7. How many would I need with two BF Compacts and a MB SA450 sitting on top? I've been toying with the Auralex idea for a while but hate the idea of carrying yet something else.
8.
Having spent 3 years living there some years back, I've never heard anyone say that before.
I know what you mean, but I was actually 5 miles north of Exeter. What I really meant was that I miss Devon and all the beautiful countryside. What I don't miss is the over inflated prices and ridiculous traffic during the Summer grockle season!
9. With a name like Adamski, the last thing I expected was black metal. I do miss Plymo though.
10.
This sounds fantastic with the L115 I'm trading! Thanks Rowbee! Glad to be home?
So glad that I'm now plotting my next holiday back to LA in the new year!!
11. Bump for Ireland, cheated by a blind linesman.
12. I tried this amp out when I bought my Barefaced Compact from Flanker and I was uber impressed by it! The tone was incredible, especially for something so small - it made my MB SA450 look huge!
13. The clearout continues. I have a Trace Elliot Boxer 15 practice amp which is in great condition. I still haven't found the power supply or bought new batteries for my camera but I'll try and sort that out and get a pic up. I'm looking for [s]£50[/s] £45 collected or local pickup or if you want to arrange a courier that would be fine too. Thanks Rob
14. I couldn't find a thread so have started a new one... Matt bought my Gator power supply and it was a very smooth transaction. Nice guy, good communication, letting me know it arrived safely. All the best. Enjoy.
15. I had a gig on Saturday and used my incredibly lightweight and portable Markbass SA450 and Barefaced Compact and was told to turn down! It's great though, because I can carry all of my gear to and from the car in one go.
16.
Mmmmm Bongo...
They drink it in the Congo - not sure if that was intentionally racked up. £650 is an absolute steal and I'm sure it'll go pretty quick for that price.
17. Price drop for the Bassballs for today, then it goes on Ebay.
18. Power supply on hold so to wrap this up I might take offers on the Bassballs before I stick it on Ebay.
19. Price drop on the power supply.
20.
I'll decide on this one and come back to you tomorrow.
I'll sell it for £40 posted.
21.
Any price on the Pitchblack?
I'll decide on this one and come back to you tomorrow.
