I dont know much about Alembic but surely this has to be cheap? Whats the action set to? If its set too low you can lose clarity on the notes, try raising the action a bit and try again.

Anybody here used Feline Guitars for a Setup ?

Highly reccommend them, Ive used them to customise and set up many a bass of mine and its always a quality job with excellent customer service, John is a really nice guy and because they are actually guitar and bass luthiers they really know their stuff.
