4.
Time we had an update here! Pre-copy era Japanese P-ish thing, Kawai or Teisco, prob'ly. I love some of the detail on this - the edge position markers & bridge cover: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=190259165449 Aria Cardinal, pretty transparent blue: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=290268932649 Gherson TallyCrap P - maybe. Looks tidy anyway: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=120320213554 Aria Laser Heritage - incredibly crap listing means someone's going to get this for 99p, if they're lucky: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=110301756434 I'm not entirely sure about this - but I think it's one of the recent reissued Kays, which were going for quite silly money in the US a few years back - either way, it's £50 BIN, if you can collect it: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=140276270276 J.
I live round the corner from that guy selling the aria, I think I might have a bash on that one, shame I missed the other one too, I live close to him aswell, I might offer him the 50 quid he's after if he still has it

 7.
I've had a couple of these. I'm in no fit state to be starting another project now, but always thought these bodies - which are incredibly solid, dense timber - would be a good basis for a P project with a better neck & hardware. I think you could easily enough plug the screwholes in the neck pocket & re-drill for a standard 4-screw plate. Just out of curiosity Kev, do you have any sort of ballpark figure in mind? Jon.
Not too sure of a ball park figure, if you fancy making an offer feel free, Im not expecting much, just want to clearout and make some space. Kev
 8. Next up is a Kay p bass neck and body project. Im selling these as I already have a fully working kay p bass and I may be getting another shortly, so I wont get around to doing anything with these. The neck and body fit together well and all screw holes line up, but I dont have the backplate so you'd have to get one made. The scratchplate is missing one screw, and it doesnt seem to screw into anything when I do put a screw in there. The body is solid and heavy and has its share of scars but no cracks anywhere and still has the original bridge. I dont know if the truss rod works on the neck, and I dont know how it all sits when its put together as Ive never had the backplate to find out. The neck still has the Bushels in the headstock and I'll put a new string tree on it aswell. Feel free to make me an offer on the pair or if you just want the neck or body
 9.
if the tuners are direct drop-in for MIJ fender jazz, then i'll take them.
To be honest I dont know if they would fit a japan jazz as Ive never owned one
 10. Ok, first up, an OLP bass body in black. I picked this up months ago with the intention of salvaging the other parts (neck hardware, electrics) which I did, and the body went under the bed for a while. I did have the intention of stripping it and giving it a refin but I wont get around to it so perhaps someone here wants it? The paintwork is in bad shape, large chips of paint missing from it, and some sort of sticky residue is also on parts of it, looks like residue from some sort of tape or stickers. It has the back plate with 2 screws still in it. No chips to the actual wood itself just the paint work so strip off the paint and its good as new for a refin! Also comes with the bridge! say 30 quid including postage or make me an offer
 11. Right, here we have a set of four Wilkinson elephant ear bass tuners in black, including all screws and bushels, I bought them to put on my hohner but dont need them anymore, as such they're unused and like new, good sturdy heavy duty quality tuners. They cost me 22 quid including postage but yours for SOLD Next up are some Arctec Giovanni custom made P bass pups, I bought these off of Prose Bass a little while ago but again have become surpluss to requirements. The white wire has come away from tthe pups so that'll need resoldering back on, other than that good as new! now 10 quid including postage.

 13.
Wow, that's a deal and a half, methinks someone could make a hell of a profit on that in a couple of years!
+1 I think it would of been more of an investment than a purchase
 14. You have no idea how hard it was for me to not chuck a bid on this, no doubt I'll regret it at some point. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=110297578068 522 quid for a 90's neck thru thumb 5? Warwick really are struggling to sell second hand
 15. I kind of like the fact they are hand made and rough cut if you like, I think they have character, I'd love to have a go on one, theres an expensive one on ebay in the states that has EMG's and LED's on the side of the neck etc..
 16. Its stateside and wont ship to the uk, but if it is a genuine early warwick a collector may be willing to fly over and pick it up, here it is, what do you think? 20.
Hi everybody, I'm so fed up with looking for a good quality back-up P-bass, I gave in and bought this for £150. Let's hope It'll be alright when it arrives. Steve
I think you've done alright there, 150 quid isnt overly expensive and you could have done alot worse for that kind of money. give us a review when you get it
 21.
Ah... I snoozed, I losed! Hmmm, see above. The nice Spector is now gone, so cash isn't an imperative.
Ah well fair enough, if you change your mind and do decide to put a figure on it let me know and we can go from there, cheers Kev
 22.
There's always a cash price in mind Ben I do have to admit if I sell it there's a fair chance that SWMBO will spirit the money away for another house project, so a trade would be best. Saying that I do know of the whereabouts of a nice Spector which a sale might get me closer to...
A pre 90's thumb is one ive been after for a while now, could you possibly pm me with a cash price in mind? Thanks
 23.
Hi, Here's a good-looking 1987 USA Peavey Fury for £185 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Peavey-Fury-USA-bass...id=p3286.c0.m14 Any good as a back-up bass? Any thoughts? A bit dear? Steve
Peavey USA stuff is generally quite good it just never got the name for itself like fender did. No doubt a good sounding USA precision but yes its over priced, but still not expensive for what you get. I'd take that over a squire or mexican fender anyday. You can pick up vintage usa peavey stuff for around 150 quid in most cases except for the t-40
