  1. All looks good there Brian doesn’t it
  2. Oh wow thank you, I’ve just got Spotify up and I don’t know most of those so that will give me something to listen to , I like this one
  3. That would be cool, the 70s and early 80s was the best time for reggae imo, I’m sure he has plenty of good stories
  4. Thanks Bagman I’ll take a look into that one
  5. A bit of Matumbi this morning
  6. Good song, I’m guessing this was played with a pick, seems a bit fast for fingers
  7. Yeah 63-65 Years: 1963 to 1965 0L00001 to L20000 1963 L20000 to L59000 1964 L59000 to L99999 1965
  8. Really liking this one Mick , thank you I’ll definitely be checking that out
  9. Great one thanks , I do know that song, nice Bassline I’ve added to my list
  10. An update on this one, I played it quite a bit and I’d say I’m about 75% there, it’s really tricky in places and had to break it down slowly and sort my technique out, great Bassline and lots to take away from it. im trying this one too which I’m finding easier, just got to get the timing right, found this video which is helpful
  11. The sunburst looks right to me front and back, lots of the red fades, the pickguard looks right too
  12. Never seen that before myself and I look at a lot of 68-73 jazzes , is the neck one the same if there’s a picture
  13. I couldn’t live with that mismatch ,despite everything else 😁
  14. Many things not right with this for a mid 70s precision as above , also black screws on the pickguard and it looks like the bridge has a curve to the top so not an original bridge , I’d stay clear of this one
  15. That’s very cool, are you a bass player too Jr
  16. Thanks for that, I like a bit of Motown I’ll check it out
  17. Great playing and a great bass Nick , GLWYS
  18. Been going through a lot of Gregory Isaacs lately , this is from the poor man in love EP, Robbie Shakespeare’s playing on this is just so good
  19. Yeah, neck stamp, pots and pickup pictures are standard practice really
  20. It would need to be taken apart to verify it and if the seller isn’t willing to do that or let the buyer do it then I wouldn’t bother even looking
  21. I’m not sure myself either mr B, I think It’s hard to tell with the info and pictures that’s been given , be worth going and having a good look if it was local and seeing if he would let you check out the date stamps
  22. I asked for pictures of the dates and neck stamp when it was first listed and got the reply, sorry no pics of the stamp but it’s genuine, if you’re selling a 62 precision imo you need to make more of an effort if you want to get a good price
  23. Love that, the guy can groove
  24. Looking great, they do play nice with a jazz neck don’t they
  25. Very nice Lozz, and flats already fitted, congrats
