  1. There’s hundreds with America in the words, I think we need another clue
  2. I could be wrong but I think people can get negative feedback removed, whereas neutral might stay there, I tend not to leave any feedback if I’m not totally happy but I do message the seller to give them a chance to rectify anything
  3. I’ve always been into the Twinkle Brothers but didn’t realise they started so long back, good quality interview here with a couple of my favourite tracks on it
  4. Nice, i like a white bass, what’s the precision
  5. Glad it arrived for you, was there no tracking info for you to show them
  6. No way, what are they saying
  7. I’ve read a lot of this and didn’t realise it started 10 years ago, I’m all for not letting someone get away with ripping me off but there comes a time when you have to put it down to experience, I feel your energy and time are wasted on this person who I don’t think is going to deliver anything now, I see you won the court case, I’d be contacting them to try and retrieve your money, good luck
  8. Very nice Brian 👌
  9. Isn’t the truss rod plug too long for a 59, looking at some others the originals look smaller
  10. That wear on the neck wouldn’t bother me on that year of bass, as long as everything else is as it should be then there shouldn’t really be any problem, if it’s something you’ve wanted for a long time then sometimes being a little more expensive than some others doesn’t really matter , I’ve overpaid for basses before because I really wanted them and don’t regret it at all, good luck and hope all goes well
  11. Definitely, another i like is concrete jungle, such a great Bassline, and not as straightforward to play as it first appears , quite technical when you break it down
  12. Love that one mr B, family man rocking away there, so good
  13. I’ve seen quite a few basses with 66 pots, apparently fender bought a large batch of them and carried on using them up until the 70s
  14. I didn’t recognise the bridge, but that’s one nice P bass
  15. What is this strange tone you speak of 😁
  16. I don’t haggle over prices on here , if it’s marked up at a reasonable price I’m willing to pay then I’ll just buy it no question , if it’s overpriced then I may politely ask if there’s any movement, but if it’s a no then I respect their decision
  17. Another one i like from Joe Higgs
  18. Possibly, I too remember a 61 very similar coming up around 3 years ago but not sure if it’s the same one
  19. Welcome ninjabiscuit
  20. Stunning jazz but a heavy price tag
  21. They look straight to me , but it’s not the best picture
  22. If there’s a switch fitted there might be some routing underneath the pickguard, I’d want to see more photos, I don’t know the neck maker myself but maybe someone here does
  23. Definitely no switches on a 72 and the tort doesn’t look right to me , the thing is I’ve had a few 70s fenders that were made up from parts and they played great, an original 72 would be double that price, I suppose it depends what your looking for, are you close enough to check it out
