1. No worries.. Sounds like a very worthwhile use of resources...
2. Hi, I'll take a couple of the clips - I will PM you tonight or tomorrow morning if that's Ok, as todays's pretty manic.. Thanks Nik
3. Hi Jez Do you have any mike stands for sale at all? Nik
4. They're the original 1990's design, IIRC.
5. Great colour! I had a couple of early Fender Jazz Vs and they were really nice basses... Good luck with the sale/trade.
6. Wow - that's a great price! Good luck with the sale...
7.
Crackin' amps these. Mine hasn't let me down yet and it would probably outlast me too. Good luck with the sale
+1 A very versatile and reliable amp for most situations; not 'hi-fi' or 'lightweight' obviously - which are the most desired qualities when buying an amp these days - but it will last forever and won't let you down! Plus of course, having 2 channels is so handy for gig situations.. Well worth the money IMO.. good luck with the sale! But
8. Thanks Dave.. I appreciate it's a hassle but it might help you sell it and i am looking for a synth for some recording... Nik
9. Hi Jack have the chicken heads sold yet? If not, please may I take them off you.. Thanks Nik
10. Thanks Guys! It's been good dealing with you both...
11. I have one of these and absolutely love it! In fact, it's identical to yours... I have to agree; the low B on the RBVs is superb and one of the reasons I like it is that it still sounds like a bass guitar string, not a piano string, which the low B can on some 35" scale basses, IMO.. Horses for courses of course, but that's my particular preference.. As you say, it's tonally very versatile for a passive bass too and it has an asymetrical neck profile which helps the playability.. Still my favourite Fender 5 string by a long chalk... Good luck with the sale!
12. Hi Folks Alec has just bought my Markbass LMT from me and as he hasn't got a feedback thread I can find, I thought I'd start one for him. So, just to say that the deal went through really easily; Alec's communications were spot-on and he was very patient with me as I was working out the various options I had with trade offers etc.. All in all, he's a good person to deal with and I'm happy to recommend him to all on Basschat.. Cheers Nik
13. Cool story! Aren't these the MTD basses as used by Gail Ann Dorsey? I had two MTDs some years back and I've also owned a pre-Gibson Tobias and they were all so easy to play...and sounded great too. Seems like a fair price for a quality 5 string and Gwilym is a very good person to deal with. Best of luck with the sale!
14. Great looking bass.. It's amazing to see 2 Reverend basses for sale at the same time here on Basschat too.. Good luck with the sale!
15. Though passive, these basses have a pretty wide tonal range... IIRC, the switch under each pick up cuts low frequencies; I'm not sure it's a 'coil-tap' in the traditional sense.. Good luck with the sale!
16. UPDATED: just this left now...

Reussenzehn Daniel D Bass Deluxe Tubebooster/valve pre-amp: £80
17. Have a BUMP on me.. IMO, this is a great looking bass this and having checked out the Reverend website and some YouTube clips, it's more than just a unique looking instrument.. It sounds really good too! Good luck with the sale
18.
Dave bought an Acoustic Image cab off me. Quick payment, friendly comms, all good! I cannot believe, however, that he has no feedback since 2009, despite the pretty things for sale every day on BassChat. He must have a will of iron!
Very strange indeed Clarky.. there's a conspiracy theory in this somewhere.... Dave's a top bloke though...
19. +1 to the sentiments above... I recently bought Al's Roland HD recorder and though we were slightly affected by the Christmas mail issues, the machine finally arrived and it's exactly as described so all was well in the end. Al's communications throughout were great..and he is definitely a man of his word. As stated above, a credit to Basschat!
20.
Sold Pete my Warwick and he is a top guy to deal with. Highly recommended. Chris.
+1 Just bought a drum machine from Pete and can echo Moose & OBBM's sentiments..
21. Just sold my TRB5 to Mark who's been brilliant to deal with from first to last...great sense of humour too, which always helps!! Thanks Mark - hope you enjoy the bass Nik
22. Welcome! This is a great place to meet bass players from all over the country... Having said that, it's nice to see another Sussex bassist join the forum..
