1.
I want your blue original. Tis very sexy
Betty is indeed a very sexy lady but doesnt get the attention she deserves as she is huge, as u can see, although shes not too heavy and balances well the neck goes on forever. I only hold on to her as it took me twenty years to find her. Chris at Overwater will build u one for £2.5K BB
2. Dont get me started on Wals.....just sold a Pro1 cos couldnt get hold of Paul whatshisname to get the pots replaced. First time I've been Wal-less in 30 yrs BB
3. Sky+ all set!!!! Managed to miss last nights Flight 666 BB
4.
Buy it, or throw an extra 1k on top and I'll 'consider' selling you my Evolution which is even prettier :-)
If I did that my dear sweet wife has assured me my next album will be titled 'A Castrato Christmas' BB
5. Here is a pic of Perception it would replace........... Also as I am undecided if anyone else wants to take a swing at the Progression and put me out my misery its not a problem......
6. Hurrmph cheerfully withdrawn, M'Lud! Sadly so near and yet so far - like some I am holding out for a later XL2 but this is still very very nice. BB
7.
What's the difference between this and your other one, the £2k one?
He has TWO??!!!???? Hurrrmph! BB
8. Welcome aboard! That is one beautiful bass, I love it when I come across new basses I've never heard of before. I used to have the 'Starlicks' Louis Johnson tuition video which I played til it fell apart. Love that Man! Also Joined that Onlybass forum (wish I could speak Frence though) but I can always just look at the photos. Best of luck with the sale BB
9.
Show me said perception that will be getting sold That one on ebay is a bargain gets my approval
Excellent - my plan is coming together so i shall remain undivorced! There is a photo of the perception in the Overwater Porn thread with its current stablemate, a blue Original, if anyone wants a look. BB
10. Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one Here I am only put off by the odd facings but seems a bargain overall. Already have a Perception, the sale of which will go some way to offset the cost, so basically only paying a few hundred quid for it yet still I hesitate. And they do say he who hesitates is yada, yada, yada...... Basically I want talked into it so when the Missus clocks it I can say some big boys made me do it and ran away! BB ps if anyone feels this is in the wrong place please move it, thanks

18. Beautiful bass, just sold my old Pro and gassing already for another Wal, but surely a similair new one would cost way more than the quoted £3,200 from Paul. I thought Wals START at £3,200 (ie a Mach 1, 4 stringer) so this beauty would be substantially more so a real bargain for someone. BB
19. Can't believe no-ones commented on this lovely bass yet so I will. Especially as you dont see many of them about. i really like this but so many basses and so little time (and money)!! Best of luck with the sale. BB
20. I got stick from cousins over the pond once on a forum for admitting not having a problem with shelling out $5K+ on an Alembic if I found one i liked enough. Accused of all sorts of things! Ho Hum! Onwards and upwards. BB
21.
Rather unlikely for me - could probably stretch to this...
As long as it has great core tone when u turn the pages. BB
22. I have often considered getting a 62 P then I remember I dont have 5 grand - I have a one-string banjo the same age as me but thats not something i want to go into on this forum. BB
