  1. Used to use an SR16 quite happily for live gigs during summer season at Butlitz Holiday camp ( the drummer went to college on a Monday afternoon) An excellent machine. Currently use the DR880 in a studio setting only, would recommend one to anybody. If ur on a budget get the Alesis but if u can afford it get the Boss. BB All of the above is true! Yes, our drummer did manage to get into college!
  2. Velcro? It's just a rip-off! BB That joke was brought to you by the publishers if this weeks Radio Times (Still only £1.10)

  4. Oh Noes! Must get these! I assemble computers for a 'living' and although gloves are available for all i am the only one in the whole factory who wears them (cos I dont want my dainty bass playing digits cut to shreds) hence forth I am ridiculed constantly as being a 'horses hoof'! Whatever that may mean! It is all in good fun..........no, wait a minute, I think I might punch someones lights out tomorrow! They will go with my new hat anyway............ BB

  12. Clearing out my little home studio and have a Yamaha P60 electric piano approx 5yrs old- home use only few scuffs from being moved from room to room. Inbuilt speakers, damper/sustain output, headphone output ( there are no other outs so i used this to send a signal to my desk.) midi in/out. Very nice piece of kit indeed - surplus as i now have a Korg Triton Extreme 88 Workstation. Would rather sell it as my wife is bugging me to give it to my Mother-in-Law No longer available new but googling it will give u plenty info but here is some cut and pasted blurb to keep you going - It features the same the GH (Graded Hammer Effect) keyboard found on more expensive Yamaha digital pianos. The GH action of the P60 has the right keyboard feel to ensure correct technique and inspire you to play more. The hi quality AWM ( Advanced Wave Memory) sampled sounds feature Grand Piano with 30 different sample points for an accurate digital emulation of the nuances of a Grand Piano. The built-in speaker system is specifically designed to reproduce all the tonal quality of the P60's voices including the built in digital reverb to add the ambience of a concert hall to your living room. The MIDI in/out allow you to expand the P60's musical and educational capabilities by connecting it to a home computer. Graded Hammer 88 Note weighted action keyboard for realistic piano feel 32 Notes of polyphony 10 Voices including Grand Piano, EP, Pipe Organ and Strings Dual voice mode to combine two sounds Digital reverb 8W x 2 amplifier (2) 12cm x 6cm speakers MIDI IN/OUT Should have a plastic music stand but unable to locate it for the mo' Have original packaging but reluctant to courier as v heavy @ 23 KG and probably delicate If u pick it up or we have a meet within a reasonable distance free heavy duty Bassix stand BB

  17. Fantastic piece of kit! Wouldn't be without mine! Built like a tank and has all the whistles and bells. I Use one channel for bass and one for synth bass. BB
  18. Well now, managed to give up my Overwater Perception so while the balance of my mind is disturbed I am hoping to find this a new home. My personal favourite for many years it has now been usurped by a shiny Status Streamline courtesy of Owen. Good condition overall but for 2 major cosmetic flaws which in no way affect the awesome sound but I feel I have reflected fairly in the price. 1. Chipping to the lower neck pocket see photo 2. Cracked scratchplate see photo - being black on black not as noticeable at any distance - new one from Rob at Status £30 though you have to send him the old one as a template as the new T-basses (£1900 BTW) are v slightly different. Two volume, bass and treble (+/-12dB) 9v actives, huge output, 3rd hum-cancelling pup, active bypass switch, nice modern touches angled headstock and mono-rail bridges. Sounds great, lovely fat bottom thru to plenty of slappy top-end Lovely thin neck, fast and very playable. no front fret markers but side dots. I love the really thin neck ( i have small hands being only a little feller) though I feel this does accentuate the already huge body - though I am sure it is no bigger than most jazzes - closest i have came to replacing this was a Fender dlx Jazz with QMT which had a slightly scaled down body. No major bumps or scrapes other than mentioned but difficult to photograph black. £500 with Warwick Hard Case including delivery to UK mainland. Any question please ask. BB
