I would consider it apart from the prohibitive cost of transport to and fro ...about £300 for 2 return
lol ~I will send out the flying monkeys for you
  5.
Until it happens to you, you can never imagine just how debilitating it is.
Ooo yeh it make you weaker than a puppy, I couldn't get my head round the fact that I could not just get back up & walk around. I kept randomly trying & giving up.....horrible feeling

    Pint in Leeds

Hi guys The Yorkshire Bass bash keeps falling on it's arse, so what about a pint one weekend in Leeds ? With it being an informal chat & pint (no kit needed as such) and no event to organise. just a sit down and a natter ? Anyone up for this ?
  7. OoooOOo Blimey I have only done my back once & will never laugh at another person ever who has done this, I remember having to sleep on the living room floor for 4 nights, I lived in a three floor massive terraced house with 3 other mates, I literally could not move it was the weirdest thing i've ever had done to me. My heart goes out to you guys, it's making me wince just thinking about it
  8. I had one of these But the tape cover was broken off & certain buttons caused a huge "nerrrrrrrrrgggg" noise if you pressed them in the wrong way. To use it properly you needed the touch of a safe cracking bomb disposal expert who could play the flute. happy days

Hi mate I think I know someone who would give this a great & deserving home if it does not work out with James may I be considered for this ?
  11. Awww bugger Magnolia is one of my all time favourite songs, I sang this to my girlfriend when we were first getting together. Naturally is a masterpiece of an album & after midnight is a song me & my other half always play when were in the car to leave a festival. It just sums up how we feel

  17. Loving this mate, nice n chunky. You guys deserve to be well chuffed with it
  18. This thread is very interesting as I was thinking of pulling the trigger on a soundbar. At the moment I have a separates system with the TV/DVD & Sky unit through that. the only issue I have is that the speakers are at one end of the room & the TV is at the other. If I have the TV sound on & the speakers there seems to be a slight delay in the sound, its very small but just enough to make it sound odd. The only way I can make it work it by turning the TV right down but the delay is a little annoying. So I was thinking that a soundbar would be a good way of sorting this.
  19.
Muse. Can't be doing with the vocals.
Aww thank god I'm not the only one
  20. It's great isn't it ? I get really fed up with people dismissing some music as "Not relevant" but who really gives a sh*te ? music is fun & creative as well, if it feels great then listen to it or just do it.
  21.
Went to see Retox last night at Leeds' Brudenell Social Club. They were good (hardcore screamers playing at breakneck speed) but the 2 supports were pretty unusual. First Cattle - a bassist, 2 drummers and a singer. The bass was distorted as hell but sounded immense. Reeling from that, the next up were Zeus - 2 piece Italian bassist and drummer. Again, all sorts of effects and distortions but strangely compelling. Really tight and bloody loud. Who needs a guitarist eh?
Aww that sounds interesting I wish I would have gone now
  22.
Thinking about it, how much would it cost to send through the post?
I have no idea mate, It would be a fair whack as it's build like a block work privvy ! I'm just wondering how we would make this work lol
  23. If it does not find a home this week it's going on holiday to the refuse centre where it can run around in a big field with the other unwanted hi fi separates ..... Please find a home for this lovely wedge........it's good with other separates and does not need any house training
