6. *****Now sold***** Hi Guys I have a Roland VS-1680 Portastudio for sale. It's a pretty hefty piece of kit to be honest, does everything & more that I could possibly need. To be honest I'm not recording expert So will keep this brief. The product features are below The VS-1680 Digital Studio Workstation represents the new definition of recording power: a 16-track, 24-bit audio recording, editing, mixing and effects processing system in a compact tabletop workstation. With its advanced features, amazing sound quality and intuitive new user interface, the VS-1680 is a bold step forward in professional audio recording.

16 tracks of hard disk audio recording; 256 Virtual tracks (16 tracks x 16 V-tracks) to freely record different ideas and arrangements
24-bit MT Pro Recording Mode for massive headroom and dynamic range—a first in its class
Huge 320 x 240 dot graphic LCD provides simultaneous level meters, play list, EQ curves, EFX settings, waveforms, and more
20-bit A/D, D/A converters for pristine sound
2 optional 24-bit stereo multi-effects processors (VS8F-2) provide up to 8 channels of independent effects processing
New EZ Routing function allows users to create and save various recording, mixing, track bouncing and other comprehensive mixer templates for instant recall
10 audio inputs: 2 balanced XLR-type inputs w/ phantom power, 6 balanced 1/4" inputs, and 1 stereo digital input (optical/coaxial)
12 audio outputs: 8 RCA-type outputs (Master L/R, Aux.A L/R, Aux.B L/R, Monitor L/R), and 2 stereo digital outputs (1 optical, 1 coaxial) plus Phones output
Dedicated LED buttons and an elegant user interface for simplified operation
Direct audio CD recording and data backup using built-in SCSI port and optional compatible CD-R drive
Note that this product is no longer in production. Similar capabilities can be found in the VS-1824CD 24-bit Digital Studio Workstation.
As I mention above it's a bit big & heavy, as well as it contains a hard drive so I am very unsure about posting it. So a local pick up or local meeting would have to be considered within the Leeds area. Pictures now added.
 7. HI Guys I have a Stagg EUB in black with gig bag for sale. This is a much beloved upright Bass that will be sorely missed from my house. But financial crisis has led me to this decision. Condition wise it's in great order & has had the basic upgrades to sort out the issues that the EUB comes with straight out of the box, this was done by our very own Artisan* who I got this off. In my hands it's never gigged, just played lovingly in my living room and the put back into the gig bag. I always take great care of the kit I have so has never been mishandled. I will be posting pictures later today if someone is interested. This is a bulky beast of a EUB so I'm really not keen on posting this or sending by carrier. only local uplift or meeting face to face with it I'm sorry to say. Cheers for reading my add, have a good day
 8. *****now sold***** I have a korg kaossilator pad for sale. My other half bought it for me as an impulse buy, I was well chuffed But I have no idea how to use it. I'm getting rid of a lot of the stuff that I have laying around which I dont have any use of. this is something I just dont need & hope someone else can use it. (price will include delivery). I will post pictures of mine tonight but here is a google image of one I just found laying around just to show you what it looks like . Condition is great & has all original manuals will chuck in the leads I have used with it as well.
 9. Thats ace gave me a free smile He's one of them creepy rockers..........but very funny for the wrong reasons
 10. At bloody last !!!! I've been trying to push J5 & Quannum on this site for years. Glad I'm not alone at last I went to see J5 a few months ago in Leeds & they were spectacular. I dont think Hip-Hop often translates well live but J5 have got it to a fine art live, they use that 5 part harmonies to full advantage & they are also great singers.
 11. how do matey ? welcome to the forum
 12.
are you kidding me? i tried it once all that stuff about busses and auxs and spdif and midi dont get me started on midi
ooo I can help with understanding midi This is awesome & is easy to follow http://tweakheadz.com/how-to-get-started-with-midi-and-the-difference-between-midi-and-audio-is-explained-along-with-many-other-core-concepts-for-building-a-home-recording-studio/ But as for suggestions stuff like this link for beginners (Like me) would be great. The whole recording world is a bit bewildering & beginners guides makes things more approachable. understanding the lingo is half the battle in my opinion although I'm fighting my way through this world i have to say it's a hard to understand dark art.
 13. Hi Guys Sorry I'm doing three peoples jobs today so it's mental busy here, yes as you can see by the pictures it's a nasty one. As I said to the good Mr Foxen here that I can advise on the adhesive but there are so many things to go wrong I was really unsure where to go with it. I will email the owner tomorrow & let them know. Thank you for all the help & advice offered it's really appreciated (And welcome to what I do for a living lol you never know what you will be asked one day to the next) now I have to help a sculptor design a giant bull rush using recycled bottles. You guys think I'm being random but the above is true I really am doing this tomorrow

 16. I'm trying to help him as the guitar is a very loved instrument with a strong sentimental value to it. I'm just going an extra mile for this guy. If anyone can help it would be great
 17. As some of you will know I'm a technical adviser for a adhesives manufacturer and I often will get sent strange weird & wonderful questions from the general public. I have just received one from a guy who has a 12 string guitar that has a broken neck, now I know what our adhesives can do but I'm more worried that this repair wont be worth the effort. I believe I can specify an adhesive that will do it but I'm not sure if the guitar would be playable after this. Can someone help me on this one ? BC wont let me post pictures from my work pooter, so I may need to forward on an email if that's ok ? Any help & advice would be greatly appreciated.
 18. I love playing bass because i hate fret w*nking Then I see Bass players doing it..........Sorry it's just boring. ***starts picking nose***
