Oops - posted the same as the one before me... This is why buying a used "Fender" is a minefield; everyone who puts a "Fender" logo on a non-Fender bass is potentially contributing to it being taken for a real one at some point in its future..

Is this the seller who had the up-branded vintage Squier for sale a while back? Something about this in one of the other items for sale rings a bell. But is is marked collection only, so I guess it's up to the buyer to get clued up.

Yes, we have to deal with this legally and have faith in the system; the fact that several people are registering cases with Action Fraud and other police departments is the correct approach.
