Just completed an overseas sale. Lots of extra issues now post-brexit of course but what I wanted to mention was the inclusion of an Apple AirTag.
For £29 we were able to keep an eye on the progress of the bass as it left the Country, got held at customs (very helpful because the courrier tracking suggested it was being delivered at the time), and then tracking in the destination country all the way to it's new home.
Clearly a few quid extra cost but for a higher value transaction a lot of added piece of mind!!!

It's a manufactured issue brought about by trucking employers and a bit of newspaper sensationalism.
The Government has caused it by forging ahead with IR35 (thereby making driving an unattractive proposition to continue working) and employers have shot themselves in the foot by taking on cheap labour (thereby making truck driving an unattractive proposition for new recruits to get into) which has resulted in a driver shortage.
Add that to COVID, a Europe-wide issue with drivers availability, and the misguided just-in-time supply chain and the net result is a shortfall at the point of sale.
It's like the loo rolls crisis, where the fact that it was said there was a crisis meant people bought more, which was thereby self-fulfilling and caused the ensuing crisis.

On the night of christmas eve, the house of one of the neighbours adjacent to our back yard caught fire and burned out completely. The lady living there (43yo) did not survive the burning.
Later that night, the man of the house - a heroin addict with repetitives episodes of psychosis in the past was arrested by the police in our city center. The man had locked his girlfriend in and burned her. This murder took place 50 meters from here, and we were aware the man was a danger to himself and his environment.
The neighborhood has called police a number of times and he would get 'help' but after a day or two he would always be returned to his home.Now the woman has burned to death and there was nothing we could do to prevent it.
I have not slept since. 2020 is the worst year ever.

I've had an order from a Mr Derek Smalls for a 34' scale bass ...well that's what it said on the napkin.

Just started a new course of antidepressants...
I couldn't function with the previous ones - these supposedly have fewer side effects but the list is far from short...including a deterioration for the first 5 days!! Minimum course is 6 months.
The thought of this is making me depressed.

Hi All. I've just got the chance of buying a Levinson Blade 4 string bass very cheaply! I've heard they are really good basses. I dont know exactly which model it is but it's a precision shape with 3 knobs and a switch which tells me it's an active bass. What do you think?
