Isn't the bass he's pictured with an ibanez?
Yes, its an Ibanez 'Black Eagle', they were also produced under the Antoria brand name too. Been on a constant on my GAS list for quite a while.
I managed to put a Mighty might neck on my old Ryder before trading it on, i guess the neck pocket is similar to the Fender dimensions...just guessing though
+1 A Mighty Mite, which is the standard P-Bass size, fits nicely on a Ryder body, mine did. Its a shame fitting a standard pickgaurd to it isn't as straight forward though!
Yes mate...but I've got soo many sessions/rehersals/gigs to do every day, every week, for the forseable future it could be difficult........but really yes, that could work fine. As long as I don't have to look at it...or inspect it, or anything like that. Signed for unopened...I don't want any of that pointy knot-ridden bark of doom stuff anywhere near my nice innocent truss-rodded Jazz basses and Cliftons. They're all so nice. Go on, tell me the bark was an extra charge item.
Give us a shout, when its delivered Duncan, I'll pop round. We can have a bonfire in your backgarden!

Antigua Precision project. Ultra bright tonal beast!

Very nice Rob. Will be following this post, looking forward to seeing the finished article. Always loved Antigua Fenders, just not fond of the weight of some of those 70's models. Smart choice of body wood for yours. -
Hi Liam, Bit of a late reply, just found this.... Nice playing mate, like the feel .... also liking one of the 'repetitive fills' - good hookline, might have to poach! Speak soon Cheers
For £50, that is the best deal i have ever seen on a drum kit. I can testify to the quality of the Pearl Export series, my bands drummer uses one and it blows kits 3x as expensive outta the water. Good luck with the sale, although it should go yesterday at that price. Liam
Thanks Liam. As its now in the middle of my lounge, it is priced to sell quickly (I hope)!! -
I've pretty much given up trying to post, and even read, threads, for me it's been very slow all the time since the upgrade. Can someone drop me a PM when things are back to normal as life's too short too keep trying
Same here. Probably spend too much time on here anyway - should really be practicing.... or is it practising?

*SOLD* - Mods please delete, many thanks. Trace Elliot 1153 (15" 200w) Cab F/S Made in UK (90's) Used, but not abused, it's not mint, but is in generally good clean condition - couple of slight scratches to metal grill & some slight bobbling to the carpet on the sides - neither highly noticeable, will probably trim bobbles this evening. Fitted with castors, which makes it even easier to cart about. No issues with the Celestion 15" driver, gives the usual great punchy tone you'd get from a 1153. This cab fared very well in a 15" cab shootout on TB in comparison to more expensive models http://www.talkbass....hootout-358077/ Spec.s: Impedance: 8 ohms Frequency Response: 32Hz - 5kHz. Dimensions: H 610mm (24.6in) W 480mm (16.9in) D 430mm (16.9in) Weight 1153- 27.1Kg (59.7 lbs) Would like £100 ono for this - pick-up Bristol. Please PM me if interested. Thanks

Thanks Uke , going for this. Been after a Marathon for a while.

Hi Mark & welcome!

Bought an East P-Retro from Gareth. Reasonably priced, good coms, quick despatch - no messing about. Top bloke - would deal him again. Thanks Nick
-
I suggest Catalin SFT, or if on a budget the Bad Monkey's not bad for warming the tone up a bit.
Forgive me if I'm being presumptuous but I'm guessing this bass is long gone as it's listed for sale at Fareastguitars and is more expensive: http://fareastguitars.co.uk/usedjb4.htm
Thanks for clarifying that, much appreciated. It was obviously too much of a hassle for the seller to answer my PMs, or even amend the FS post accordingly to 'withdrawn' Nevermind....
