  1. Bass Player required for band 'The Ralities' - Newport / Cardiff (ex Mind of Zebra) Due to a change in my personal circumstances, basically deciding to emigrate - I'm looking for a replacement for me, in a band I'm in. This is a great established band of really good, open minded musicians & lovely people, doing original material in many genres including motown to folk, to funk to cinematic, to soul songs and more.... The emphasis is to do catchy tunes that make listeners dance & enjoy themselves. It's great band for a bass player IMHO 🙂 The band is a five piece lineup with vocals, acoustic guitar/ guitar BV's / keyboards, saxophone, BV's / bass / drums The band has got a good local loyal following that is steadily building up. Regular gigs & some festivals around South Wales are being planned. ...We just played Le Pub in Newport last Thursday, went down well & were well received. Mustang Rally

My '78 Mustang, currently strung with Chromes, though I do go back & forth with Labellas on it. I prefer the chunkier neck on this and the late 70's Mustangs to the MIJ one I had before, and the older Mustangs I've tried.
  3. Another bump for this beauty that deserves a new home & loving owner 🙂
  4. These are great. Way better than the US original Fenders IMHO. The 'Vistatone' pickups are really good... I've got exactly the same as yours & love it. Though the blue on mine has faded to more of a surf green than yours. Great price for a cool looking killer short scale - GLWTS 🙂👍
  5. I've had this (self built) Ziebek / Electronix Submarine clone, which in itself is a stripped down clone of the 'Albert Kruezer preamp', on every version of my pedal boards for the last twenty years. It's got pretty varied tone shaping abilities & quite versatile for such a simple circuit, but I use it quite subtly to just add a bit of low mid 'thump' - really lends itself well to flats.... It's also quite handy as a clean boost for when I swap between my Mustang & Stingray. I should really get round to building another one, when I get the time.
  6. Thanks it's a great cab & well made. Would be keeping it if I hadn't have got a couple of Vanderkleys recently & had the space to keep it.
  7. Last Bump with price reduction to £550 ono before I punt this out on Evilbay 🙂
  8. *Now Sold* Hosco (Gotoh) Vintage Fender Style Bass Bridge with Threaded Saddles (Nickel) Unused as new. These are a decent quality BBOT MIJ bridge. Got them on a couple of my old Tokais & think they're quite nice. Got this extra one surplus, so up for sale. £22 inc. P&P Cheers
  9. He also used a couple of Eldritch's WAL Customs, one being a MIDI version, during his time in the Sisters.
  10. Bump with price reduction... A great cab for not a lot of dosh 🙂
  11. Over the years, I've done a couple.... John Hollis 'Flatline' on veroboard. Which was an easy build, and a nice sounding optical compressor on bass. Similarly, also built something based on the Demeter Compulator. Which has been on my board for years as a staple, as it's pretty transparent & easy to dial up something sounding natural. Next build will be a 'Pumpernickle'. Bought the kit ages ago, but have only just found the time to start on it. Looking forward to finally finishing it. Totally agree with you Bigwan on the enclosure. Also, I think the designer stopped selling the pre-drilled enclosures a while ago.... I've got a drill press, and I'm not bad at drilling enclosures, but took the the easy option on this & got Tayda to do the 125B for me. Price was not bad (IMO) at $4.50 drilling service + $6 for the powder coated enclosure. Delivery time was pretty good, within two weeks.
