1. Are there any owners who know the wiring circuit for the Aria Pro ZZB deluxe ? Its the 2 pup MBlll model. I bought the pair of MBll's and the circuit - blend switch, vol, tone - and although the pots and jack socket are all still wired together, the pups are not The previous owner had snipped off the pup wires, leaving stubs where they used to be, so simply re-wired them as they appeared to be. But i got nothing. The switch is a strange one. Its not 6 pole like normal blend switches, but 3 pole. And the earths appear to be on the side of the body of the switch Some advice and/or photos or diagram would be really helpful ta !
2.
I didn't like the sound much but the guy had a very hot P bass pickup in center position... don't remember the brand/model though.
You think the better option was to fit a lower out put P pup ?
3. For a pedal to only take what millamps it needs, doesnt the PS need to be the regulated kind ?
4. Why did it not make sense. Was the J tone pretty nasty @ 11k ?
5. Both good points and i'm aware of them, but those reasons are why i said i have never found a balance of volume between them. No one has wound a J that will balance out put at the bridge with a P at the neck. And i've never managed to lower a P pup far enough to lower the out put while jacking up the the J as far as possible. They still dont balance This is why I favour the amp i currently use, a Carvin BX1600. When switching from P to J, i can kick in the defeatable graphic. Problem solved
6. Entertaining chit chat from MK in his studio. The gear floating about in here is outrageous
7. Sold Jose a pedal and he paid instantly, no fuss. A great dude and good to chat to as well. Thanks Jose 10/10
8. A highlight could be Govan whipping out his fretless Vigier. Imagine that - fretless bass is hard enough
9.
Best part of all, it all fitted in the boot, carried in and set up within minutes, packed away in minutes.... Got home and unloaded gear from car into house in ONE TRIP!!!!
Indeed - same here. NY cabs, Carvin amp head + rack case , total weight = 75lbs. Not much more than a pair of bedroom slippers Laughing all the way to the next gig. 19th December. Tally Ho
10. Bub - if you love the Ozrics, then you'll love Hillage. You'll hear the similarities Curtis Robertson Jr on bass And for some rather evil bass lines, check Mike Howletts devil bass on this... 11. Our lead git uses a Gibbo LP / Marshall , and has no prob with woolly. Our rhyth git uses Strats / Marshall ... ditto.
12. The cheapest fold flat raiser i could find - i bought a couple of the black ones, 40cm height http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Multi-Purpose-Folding-Step-Stool-Home-Kitchen-Easy-Storage-Upto-150kg-Capaci-/131607802948?var=430979562276&hash=item1ea46fb444:m:mAN4utmoHa3SAr4ElAtp4gg
13. The only thing that you might want to think about when using that pre out is that its post EQ, and most studio recordings would probably be better with a clean signal and EQ added later, though not a big deal in the great scheme of things
14. I looked at Roq for my NY 121 cabs, but baulked at the prices, and they only have limited protection against knocks in transit So I decided to keep the original boxes that mine shipped in. Well , one original MB and one regular. I covered up most of the shipping labels and whatnot and then fitted strong ' handles ' , which is in fact a recycled very strong bass case. The boxes are different sizes so when the cabs are removed, one stores inside the other. Also, i use foam inbetween the fold flat raiser, and foam inbetween the 2 cabs. This will stop rubbing marks
15. Yuuuuuuuup ! Have a babycham on me
16. This is a LEEM D.I. Box, virtually unused and comes with paperwork and box Jack and XLR Post for £3.95
17. Its getting too complicated for me now, so it will have to remain LED-less
18. Dammit Thanks Red - gonna leave it without LED and have to remember when i've kicked it in
19.
You need to replace the DPDT footswitch with a TPDT one and then wire the LED along with a battery to the third pole of the switch so that when the signal is routed to the volume potentiometer the LED is on.
The idea was to keep power out of it. I dont to want power the pedal with battery or 9v PS. Does the LED need its own power ? Would signal from the guitar not be enough when the pedal was kicked in ?
20.
Easy, just take it to a music shop and ask them to do it! Seriously, that level of repair, I would leave to a pro. , but you might be more industrious.
Well i built the box itself after sourcing the parts, so if i could get a diagram , i'm sure i could sort it out
21. I think to start , i'd need to swap out the footswitch for a 3PDT instead of the DPDT that already in there ?
22. I built a passive , non powered pre-set volume box ( cut only ) for my pedal board using this tutorial.. http://www.premiergu...eset-volume-box The writer suggests that an LED can be added so you know at a glance that the box is on or off. He doesnt say how to wired the LED into the circuit So can anyone tell me how this would be done ? I have some small LED lights here, which i assume will do the job, but need instructions on how to / where to wire it in Cheers !
