1. He must be able to read though ? I mean, it doesnt say Fender or Straocaster on the guitar anywhere.
 2. I know the moving pups thing isnt new. Anyone remember the Westone Rail Bass ? Even Westone probably didnt come up with idea, but nevertheless, its a concept i really like I do think the Westone idea of the 2 big chrome rails looks kinda more aesthetically pleasing than the large empty hole of this Framus/ Warwick Starbass, but whatever, the idea appeals to me. 3.
BTW, Tina Weymouth looked nothing like the way she looked in her other thread on here.
The inevitable march of life gets us all in the end http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VL94XuyW0w
 4.
What if a minority doesn't want to be represented? You can't make people do ballet if they'd rather be doing something else. Or what if there is a higher than 'average' representation of any particular minority group within any particular activity, say, for example, Welsh people performing at Eisteddfods? Should there be fewer Welsh performers there? And - if so - who's going to decide which Welsh people will have to pack up and go home? And who's going to tell them? And will they tell them in Welsh? Because if they tell them to go home in English someone will kick up a stink and shout something like 'That's "Mynd adref chi bobl mewn rhesi 1 drwy 21" you English c**t!' even if the person doing the asking is themselves Welsh but can't speak Welsh, which is another oppressed sub-group actually but let's not get into that otherwise we'll have Plaid Cymru druids out the ying-yang for days on end, banging on about the threat to indigenous culture and Tom Jones. So basically f**king pointless, really. .
On the button Skank Thats because of the festeringly annoying F%55%ing PC brigade that now infiltrate every aspect / permeate everyone's lives. I don't care what colour, sex or creed they are. But they're out there in all forms, trying to correct the most miniscule aspects in life, to be right & fair. Life will never be those things. Ever.
 5. To elaborate a tad, i was sniggering at the bloke himself, and the need to wear a lab technicians coat.
 6. He doesnt pay much attention to his auctions, does he.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Stratocaster-Vintage-Reissue-And-Fender-Amp-/232237570585?

 10.
That's them. They were from the Watford area and I saw them loads of times. It was about the nearest you'd get to seeing Zappa in a pub. The rest of the guys were equally talented, Ted Emmett, Lyndon J Connah, Tam Neill. The bassist, Andy Crawford, was fantastic too, but no longer plays. Jakko plays with King Crimson now, btw.
Oh, yes ...even back then they were damn good. Jakko was the font man wasn't he ? I remember him being a bit of a comedian - great live band Thanks for the info Moon. Didnt know he was with KC now
 11. Oh dear ... why I didnt see any basses either
 12.
64 Spoons
Thats a strange name .. oddly enough i saw a band back in the 80's or was it the 70's, called the 64 spoons , downstairs in The Corn Dolly, Oxford . He didnt know it back then but the gitwrist would later play with Level 42 .. bloke by the name of Jakko Jakszyk

 15. No love for SG basses for me,... But i'd love one of these again. Original shape Overwater bass. I had a single pup version about 15 years ago, and like the divot i am, i sold it. It had an Ebony cased Bill Lawrence pickup, but i wouldnt mind a 2 pickup model as below... photo found on Basschat too
 16. I wonder if anyone has tried stuffing 4 neo mag 10's in a TE ? Then again, i suspect that would be messing with the TE sound a bit
 17.
She always looks very awkward when she is playing bass. Efficient and a decent player, but she doesn't look comfortable to me
Yeah i got that too. Something a bit ungainly and stiff ...cant put me finger on it, but nevertheless... efficient and decent , as you say
 18. Love that 80's teal green Veillette Citron, Greek. They have a much more pleasing shape than modern V-C's
