2. Yup, still using mine. Still no problems, and mine runs through an ABY switch, tuner, micro thump, BSW, Flange, Chorus,
3. Here's one that i would give a miss. Funk/ jazz bass player yo Joabmelon Tuesday 4 Apr 2017, 5:58pm So hi there. Imma bass player lookin fo sum future soul/funk/jazz like ting. I've bean plaiing base 4 ruffly 3 yerrs an I've been in 2 bands in dat time. I'm currently still in a band-like thing wit my sister who plays keyboard and produces her own choonez (her name's Theo laird look er up on soundcloud shes really Gud!!). Hailing from the city area, I wouldn't be overly interested in travelling outside due to the fact that I am 16 and consequently cannot drive. I have a four string fretted bass although I'm looking to invest In a 5 string. I take influence from bassists such as jaco pastorius and Stanley clark. I do also enjoy electronic music/ bands like that of Klaus Johann Grobe and also progressive rock such as man and birdmen. Although I primarily like that typical cheesy 80s funk, I can and Will play jazz if needed and can fit into most styles (I am a music snob however so I won't be playing indie or heavy rock tank ya veri mooch!!) Oh yes and (for those who stuck around) I can also play the saxophone to a considerably high level and will happily disrobe the ol pipe if need be. So thas aboot it!! I luuk 4ward to a repliii!! From your brother, sister, uncle, mother, father and creepy 4th cousin... JOEY
4. A video is definately the way to go, though a lack of one wouldn't turn me away. Just like an imperfect ad wouldn't. Of course, there's always those that do. When i see ads starting " hey, wot u doin - wear a kickass gr8 band .. " etc etc If it looks like it's from a hoody infested council estate, i'm out. No offence to hoody infested council estates, before the letters roll in
5. Posting a vid or tracks online would go a long way to helping prospective applicants to make a decision. This would be much better than just an ad
6. Well, thats my point. If you only judge what you read, you might miss out on a face to face...there could be an excellent band in there Yes, i see that most have to make a call on on ad, especially if its some distance away to meet the band, but is it possible that these bands could be excellent / great musicians but a tad lacking in the ad posting dept. ? How would you know if you only judged them on the ad ?
7. Just slightly Dave Yes info sharing is fab, thats not what i'm on about I'm talking about pre-judging others on what is just text on a screen. I've met people off forums that i had previously met ON a forum and they turned out to be nothing like i had pre judged. We all make assumptions But back to the band ads, its worth following up and making a judgement on these bands after you've met face to face and chatted. Or maybe it's not Thats all i'm saying
8. Instead of speculating and giving wild conjecture, it may be better to follow up the ads first, then make a judgement call. Its like trying to judge someone on a forum simply by the text they post. You could be totally wrong in your assumptions, till you meet up Or you could be totally right , but assumptions are the mother of all f**kups
9. 17 Years ago, a band i was in was a 3 piece, although it was formed as one at the outset and we didnt lose anybody, but our guitarist did lead, rhythm git, and main vocals. It never held us back It helps to have a stonking all rounder like that in a band. He was the Botham of 3 piece gigging
10. One thing about the ZB3 is that there doesnt seem to be any indication of which bank number is currently in use. My old Digitech multi BP8 has an indicator on the board to show it. So how are you supposed to know where you are if you need to change banks ? Seems like this could be a problem
11.
Ok I stand corrected. My next thread will be: Will playing a bass 2mm from your chin ever make a come back?
That never went away either. I'm sure Mark King is still playing 2" from his chin

13. Ask TT if they use sustainable wood
14. Bought a footswitch from Dean and received the next day - marvellous !! Cheers fella
15. Well that didnt take long. Now have an original TE footie in the post Job done
16. Thanks folks I'll be looking for momentary dual footswitch
17. Thanks verb. I maybe misunderstanding things. I looked up the difference between momentary and latching and it still seems at odds with everything So if one wanted to kick the EQ in mid song, using a momentary switch, one would not have to keep their foot pressed on the footswitch ? One could kick the graphic in, take their foot off and the graphic would stay on ? I'm not really getting this, but then my knowledge of leccies is well below par
18. Hi Trev It wouldnt make sense for them to be momentary. Say you wanted to kick the graphic in mid song, you would have to keep your foot on the switch till you didnt need the graphic Same for if you wanted kick in the pre shape.
19. In case i cannot find one of these... Would this be of any use from Amazon ? Its dual latching, which i think is correct I've seen other dual footswitches but they appear to use a mono jack, and the TE has a stereo jack like this Amazon cheapie below ..
