  1. you can power any 9v pedal with a 9v battery. Just because it doesn't fit inside, doesn't mean it wont work ( Digital pedals wont last long mind you as they are power hungry!) All you need is a plug that fits into the pedal, a battery and some sellotape. make sure the -ve terminal on the battery goes to the centre.
  2. Try powering it with a 9v battery. If it works you know it's the power supply(s) at fault.
  3. yes. but you will have to overtake @Al Krow before that happens i find my FI tracks noticeably better with my P with flats, than a jazz with rounds. I attribute that to there being less overtones/ more fundamental for the tracking to lock onto.
  4. Watts = Power
  5. I can see your Watts going through the roof on this one Peter! Thanks

Pour some Glayva on a saucer then leave it in the icebox thing overnight. Makes a great syrup for the morning after toast 😎

I used to love Baileys but sadly can't do dairy anymore so we brought some vegan Baileys called Almonde, I love it, to me it tastes the same as Baileys but with none of the lovely side effects that original Baileys brings!

  8. This is hands down the best gated fuzz for synth bass sounds. GLWTS
  9. It did. I'll amend that add. Sorry
  10. If i gave up gear for a year, id have to give up Basschat for a year.... And i'm just not prepared to do that to you!
  11. I cant believe this is still here. Only a few months ago i saw at least 4 of these sell in under 12 hours! ....and this is the cheapest ive seen!!!!!! Its one of the few pedals i've bought twice! there wont be a 3rd as i'm never letting go of mine now. GLWTS
  12. No worries at all, I'm glad somone has made use of it! It opened a whole load of doors for me too... Put all other FX on the amp chain, leaving the lows untouched. It just opens the helix right up for bass!!!
  13. You might get more of a response on one of the other 37 helix threads on here. This one was for user tips and tips.
  14. its up. (in the tips thread)
  15. VERSION: Stomp TITLE: Patch example - Crossover into parallel paths DESCRIPTION: Tubey low gain sound with clean lows. sounds ace with flats on my P IN DETAIL: Using a Crossover split at 500Hz, sending highs and mids through a mpeg SVT amp & 810 cab, lows through studio compressor, then merged. There's a volume pedal block on each path as i find it useful to switch these on and off to hear what each path contains. Amp Tone'z.hlx amptonez.mp3
  16. I was playing with some of the Amp and cab models today through headphones. ALL of the amp/cabs were pretty unusable even after tweaking IMHO. However... Stick a 800 Hz Crossover split before the amp to bypass the lows (only mids/highs through the amp/speaker) light compression on the lows, then mix the signals..... SOUNDED. SO. FREAKIN. AMAZING. Ill post the patch on the tips/tricks thread incase anybody's interested
  17. Maybe playing an amp and cab sim through an amp and cab??
  18. Great guy, Great pedal, great price!
  19. Put it in a Dumpstatah!!!!
  20. Yes, i had a very valuable (£6000+) UPS delivery yesterday from a shady looking bloke in an even shadier looking unmarked van. All is OK with the contents however.
