  3. One of the features i haven't really spoken much about is the Detent tab on the parameter dial. It's a subtle feature, but makes the parameter dial soooo much more user friendly!
  4. this . If you don't like side buttons, then its OK. because i designed another one with top buttons. The Super compact is basically the one that is custom designed for my setup.
  5. i i haven't really considered desktop use at all on the basis that there's usually not a premium for space on a desk. The important thing to note here is that the side mounted buttons will only ever be pressed by hand. and very rarely by users that switch with midi. (like me)
  6. Im offering 2 different designs. Both of which will appeal to very different types of pedalboard. 1.The future compact (top switches) will appeal to most. this is just a smaller version of th FI. 2. The super compact appeals to those who use a midi switcher and seldom need access to the switches at all!! Therefore having them tight against another pedal isn't really an issue. If the user chooses to they could just leave the switches inside the housing.
  7. yep.
  8. Up for sale is my Copilot broadcast. Its a pedal that makes no sound - it is essentially an LFO generator. This one has the mod to control the rate with an exp pedal. The rate can be continuously variable or can latch to multiples of the tap tempo which is really useful for dubstep style wabbs!! I've used it in a similar way to the video, to create an lfo wave rather than a foot sweep to my filter/synth sounds. Works great and very tweakable in terms of waveform etc, you can by pass the LFO so easily revert to regular foot control if you like - think of it like an lfo bypass. Exp and CV outs. In excellent condition. Collection from brighton area or postage for a 5er.
  9. Surplus to requirements ATM so got to let this one go. In Superb as boxed new condition, even has the warranty card unused in the box!, fantastically versatile toolbox of bass utilities/drive/speaker sim/headphone amp/DI.... the list goes on! collection from Brighton area, or postage for a 5er.
  10. SOLD Up for sale is my HAZ Mu-Tron III+ Envelope Filter. In good condition for a pedal of this age. Works perfectly on 9v supply or 2x 9v batteries. Sounds fantastic as you would expect from a Mike Biegel design. This demo can illustrate its capabilities way better than i can.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DApa58SjpB8 collection from brighton area, or postage for a 5er. I dont have the box, but will be packaged well for the journey ....another one that doesn't come up very often.
  11. Up for sale is my Mu-Tron Micro-Tron III. Boxed, and in as new condition with the addition of high quality velcro on the back. I've been through a bit of a pedal binge these last few months and with some bills coming up, unfortunately it's a last one in, first one out policy. With generous helpings of squelch and slurp this classic filter doesn't come up very often, so i'm hoping to pass it on to a fellow BCer that can get more use out of it than i can. Collection from brighton area, or postage for an extra £5er sorry no trades Here is the official line... The NEW Micro-Tron III is the newest reincarnation of the classic Mu-Tron III™ envelope filter. The Micro-Tron III provides all the classic Jerry tone and Bootsy funk, in a pedalboard-friendly size and powered by industry-standard 9V DC. We’ve also added an OUTPUT level control and the ability to footswitch select between UP and DOWN drives. It’s never been easier to cruise down “Shakedown Street” or get to “Higher Ground” – the Micro-Tron III sounds amazing on guitar, bass, keys, horns, harmonica… you name it! Controls: MODE LP (lowpass filter) passes all the signals below the peak and attenuates signals above the peak BP (bandpass filter) passes signals only near the peak and attenuates signals below and above the peak HP (highpass filter) passes all signals above the peak and attenuates signals below the peak RANGE LO sets the filter sweep to a low range for most rhythm guitar, bass and lower fret uses HI sets the filter sweep to a high range for accenting string harmonics or for up-the-neck and solo work LEVEL controls the ouput volume of the effected signal PEAK (or Q) controls the filter audio response from very weak to very strong GAIN controls the envelope and filter audio drive ON/OFF Footswitch engages or disengages the envelope filter effect UP/DOWN Footswitch UP position produces familiar “auto-wah” sound – like a heel-to-toe sweep on a wah pedal DOWN position produces a “down swoop” sound – like a toe-to-heel sweep on a wah pedal
  12. I'm not sure what your getting at...
  13. Surely comparison between 2 utilities that are supposed to have no effect on your tone is futile?Without an oscilloscope/frequency analyser that is...
  14. Yes. Frequency.
  15. I did make one, it's not too bad, but would need to be on the front row.
  16. I'm officially taking orders for the Future compact. If you emailed me already you should have received an email by now with the details on ow to make an order. If you want to make an order please email to [email protected] with "future impact rehousing" in the subject to express your interest, and ill let you know how to order. Thanks
  17. So I've been looking into this today, and i dont think its going to work. Not really. The thing is... due to the way the circuit board is internally right against the wall, i cant recess the footswitches like i can on the sides. so the switches will have to stick out further, which elongates the footprint almost to the point where you could just have them sticking out the top like the 1st "Future compact" design. so it kind of makes this variant redundant. The only reason to have the switches there would be to have it on the front row of the board, and therefore operated by the toe. But i don't want to dictate where people put a pedal, so it's not realy a valid reason. Therefore I will be sticking to the side loaded switches for the super compact.
  18. yes i have already decided to move the knobs to the front for other reasons. And that's another reason to do so. Thanks
  19. i will be offering them for sale very soon! email to [email protected] with "future impact rehousing" in the subject to express your interest and ill let you know as soon as im accepting orders. Orders will be made on a 1st come 1st served basis. I intend to make as many as people want in the first month, then i will print a few batches and that will be that.
  20. Yes I considered it but I wouldn't shift too many of those! I'm happy to do a custom switch housing build for someone tho if that's what you want. It would be super easy to do the wiring.
  21. i'm pretty much convinced now that the buttons should be on the lower side, as opposed to the side sides.
  22. certainly beyond the scope of this project, but if you can find some buttons suitable, and are confident with a sildering iron, you could probably fit them above the circuit board on the top face. There's about 9mm in there i'm not using
  23. see post 8 minutes ago...
  24. do you mean change the switches? I wanted to keep the internals unmodified so its not only easy to reassemble, but also easy to revert back to the original housing for resale etc.
  25. good spot. I'm on it
