  1. I got my first loop switcher a few years ago. A joyo pfl live I think its called. It was an absolute game changer for me. I mean it was a pain to program, but much simpler to fun a board live. I upgraded to the es8 shortly after as once I got my head around switching, the es8 has soo much to offer. The parallel loops, midi pc and cc. Changing the order of pedals, pc patch editor.... The list goes on. They are phenomenal bits of kit!
  2. Stuart Zender. he is mentioned in the clip as the current owner of the bass you "recognised"
  3. how? are you SZ?
  4. Nope. The hx effects has an EBS octave emulation in it. Has excellent tracking and a lovely growl to it. I do so times miss my Octamizer tho, although that was used for a slightly different purpose.
  5. Bass direct Not that I've seen.
  6. My latest offering to the pedal gods...
  7. They are £300 in uk
  8. this might help. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/boss-oc-2-volume-mod.1051293/
  9. There is a very simple mod that involves unsold eering one side of one resistor on the - 2 circuit that adds 3db to the output. @dodge_bass can tell you more than I can
  10. if i'm honest, i prefered the wonderlove tone in the clip too. But to my ear the attack was set significantly faster on the wonderlove and that's what i like so that makes sense. Filters are as much about feel to me as they are about sound, so im going to reserve my judgement until i get my hands on one.
  11. First bass review and a video just posted on TB. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/3leaf-audio-club-episode-2.957647/page-189
  12. Yeah I'm pretty uninterested now I've seen the price. But it got me thinking.... If its the best sounding, most responsive filter I've ever heard... Will I drop £350 Yes. If its not quite up to expectations there's a plenty big market for 2nd hand gear round here. Might loose a 50??? All depends on the demos. Still waiting...
  13. Oohhhh.... ive always fancied one of these....
  14. somebody asked on the facebook page about the envelope detection circuit and the response was..."The entire circuit is redesigned....it's still an optical filter like the Wonderlove but it has lower noise, the detector follows your playing in a more musical way, the build quality is better, and the expression pedal input has been redesigned to have a much smoother sweep."
  15. I can confirm...... Fake. Well of corse! I wanted some new elixirs anyway, so got a genuine set from a trusted seller... But couldn't resist a punt for £7 on wish. Both arived today but the ones from wish aren't even coated. I'm sure somone could make use of them tho! But I doubt I'll fit them. Postage only offers by Pm
  16. Yes I love the look of that!!! Might treat myself
  17. I may be wrong here but I think Brightonion do a feedback loop pedal. My understanding is that it can make any pedal self oscillate (squeel like a pig)
  18. i meant for a pedalboard.... my Fuel tank jr only puts out 600mA TOTAL!!
  19. Had to check that out.... 7 isolated DC-outlets, 6W each (660mA at 9V DC each). That's alot of amperage!!!!

I have a hardwire reverb. Tried to sell it on here not long ago and couldn't shift it. Decided to keep it a dim glad I did. The lexicon reverbs in it sound excellent on acoustic guitar.
  21. ^^^ this
  22. I've had my helix HX now for a few months. I never found a filter I liked. That's why I kept my manta and BEF on the board. I will look at the settings above with interest tho! Thanks
  23. Only 1 FX pedal. that's just wrong!
