2.
Youtube?
wouldn't have a scooby where to start.
 3.
I hear loads of stories of bands playing gigs where they've been fighting or the audience have...some proper punch-ups. I've never actually witnessed anything bad at any of my gigs (maybe I've just been lucky). Anyone had experiences?
yep, had to be locked inside a venue for our own safety as there was a riot going on outside. This was a venue outside of Milton Keynes a few years ago. Wolverton I think.

 9.
Wow that is gorgeous. Have you had a chance to try it in a band setting, or recorded with it yet?
not yet. I've just got together with a new band and we are arranging a rehearsal. I'll post how it goes.
 10. the light wasn't too good, but here's some more pics. I was trying to show the contouring and the thumbchumb profile with these. He had to put it somewhere
 11.
Tell us about the LEDS then... How do they "pulse". From what I can work out from the circuit, they should come on in pairs?
well spotted sir! As someone who can just about wire a plug I'm impressed There are about 7 different options (not including all on) and they go from 2 together pulsing up the neck alone, then several together going up the neck, so that by the end of the options it looks like all the lights are on and they are being switched off as they go up the neck. Apologies for the rather poor explanation.
 12.
I actually like the look of them......but I am a little odd
+1
 13. thanks for the kind comments guys
Fantastic, looking forward to more pics, I think I've sussed what the bendwell is, what's a thumbchum?
it's the name for the all in one pup cover/thumb rest/ramp.
 14.
They have been in contact with us and are keen to improve their standing and reputation with Basschatters. I hope your positive post is a step in the right direction. Has anyone else had a positive experience there? ped
doesn't seem to be happening does it?
 15. I'll try get some better pics up soon and will post more, but as you can imagine I'm spending quite a lot of time playing Soundwise (IMO) it falls somewhere between my old passive SUB and a Fender P. There is no tonal variation as it only has a volume pot, but for a passive bass it kicks it out - the pup has been extra wound and it is hum cancelling. The bendwell requires a bit more finger strength than I currently have, so that's something to work on. The neck is probably the best I've ever played, it suits me perfectly, and the thumbchumb does everything I wanted it to. The original plan for the LED's was for them to be off, on, flash, and pulse. However Jon went the extra mile, and now I can control the pulses I love it - which is just as well HAPPY HAPPY - JOY JOY!
 16. *cue fanfare* Even the LED board has LED's! and tradition maintained
 17.
Did he shake it or double thumb it?
LMFAO! Someone please put that in the quotes thread
 18. I cannot believe this is still here
 19. When are you back in that London? MacWifey missed out last time, and I've a couple more mates who will be up for it - if the Victoria line is running
 20.
Still coming, but in the light of the number of amps that people are bringing (and the healthy representation of the Barefaced stable) I'm wondering if I really need to bring the rig. Thoughts, anybody? S.P.
Please do. I'm interested in hearing and seeing it
 21. Getting over G.A.S. is easy. I've done it hundreds of times
 22.
Guys Bit of a cheeky post but if you dont ask.... Got a recording date next week and haven't owned or used a DI in aeons.... I won't be able to crank my matamp up too much as it's a home recording jobbie. Was wondering if anyone would lend me a nice DI for the week if I paid for special delivery back and forth (and obviously cover the cost of the unit if it failed on me) I haven't really got time to sort one out any other way. I would be happy to pay for the loan or you can have my bluebeard fuzz or wah for the week if anyone would like to try any of them.. Would be happy to try the hartke, aguilar or sansamp or anything nice and effective. thanks Tim
you could probably get a cheapie Behringer or something that would do the job for the same price as delivery back and forth. It would then be something worth keeping in the gig bag just in case.
 23. yep making an effort on stage is vital. Here's some of my old band, who were described by the NME as Psychedelic Funk And my latest band. You'll never guess what kind of music we play (don't think we'll ever be in the NME either )
 24.
I don't know why this is still here, it's a stupidly low price.
+1 For me it's a space issue
