Not long back from rehearsal. Hard work to start with. Took a long time to sort levels, the room acoustics didn't help, and the studio bass stack, a TC Electronics BQ500 with a Hartke 4x10 and TC Electronics 1x15 sounded appalling. Ended up using my Peavey Vypyr VIP 3. Managed to play all songs in the set list, so worthwhile as the next gig is on Thursday.

A dressing room full of hookers and a mountain of coke. As everyone else has said, if the audience are into it.

Maybe have a rule that on the hour for 15 minutes amps are turned off / muted?

Similar thing happened to me a few gigs ago, fortunately @Happy Jack was on hand to sort out the speakon cable which wasn't fully inserted in to the cab.

Last gig while soundchecking, no sound from the bass. Soundguy "Is the amp switched on?". Me "yes". Now in my defence it looked like the amp light was on. But it was an outside gig and it was just the sun shining on it, making it look bright. When the sound walked over and turned the amp on I looked like a right 🤬 I've only been gigging for 40 years 😖

Mine balances quite well, but it's an earlier one and doesn't have the metal plate on the back.

Not quite, it's short scale 29" but the difference isn't too noticeable.

Guitar players whose playing would not be affected at all, if the little finger of their fretting hand was amputated.

You can usually treat bursitis with things like rest, ice packs and painkillers. But prevention being better than the cure, @Happy Jack has a video on here somewhere, showing how to warm up before playing, which will help prevent reoccurrence.
