I remember it at the LBGS, but would be interested in hearing it at a louder volume. Although this thread would have put me off buying one if I wanted one.

Didn't most of Oasis go with Liam to Beady Eye, rather than with Noel? Maybe they know something we don't?
The Charmandean Centre in Worthing? I'm sure Nik would be the best person to yay or nay on this one, mind you.
Worthing would be a bit far for those of us coming from that London -
Did it on a MM Sub years ago. Just widened the nut for the B, and gave the set up a tweak. No worries.

The folks at Xvive asked for a video of the U2 not working properly. Fortunately this very thing was available from a Junkyard Dogs gig. I sent it to them, so watch this space. -
+1 to what Osiris just said. That's pretty much spot on!
With the caveat that a lot of amps are voiced, so a flat EQ ain't necessarily so.

Plenty of bass goes through the monitors. When I played there before, I went through the amp, but it wasn't loud enough for on stage monitoring, so I had bass in the monitors. So this time I didn't want to bother with it. I did end up DI'ing through the BDI121.
-
So at last night's gig (6 bands just a line check between bands) the normal set up for bass is to go through the supplied back line, a Fender Rumble, which is DI'ed. Having played there before, I just wanted to DI straight from my Behringer BDI121 (there are monitors on stage) but the soundguy said he would prefer me to go through the amp as it 'would put less strain on the PA'. Is this true?

We're on about 8. 6 bands from 5pm, doors open at 4pm. https://m.facebook.com/Metal-2-The-Masses-London-2017-m2tmlondon-1224132694305851/
Just come across the Xvive wireless system. Anyone like to comment on how they hold up after a few months' use? Are people even still using them?
yup, still using mine, I've been using it with my basses, and a Telecaster guitar. All good. but... I brought my Epiphone TS Les Paul and Gibson MM Flying V out of retirement, and it doesn't like them. At home and rehearsals it's fine, but at gig levels the sound breaks up. Not sure why this is, as it's only the amp that gets louder. Xvive said to try the different channels. I will but I can't do it a home because I need to be playing at gig levels. -
but do be careful not to stray into any of that awful "slapping" nonsense that the young people of today seem to be obsessed with. It's not big, and it's not clever.
Especially those young whipper snappers Larry Graham and Bootsy Collins!
