A lot of 'pop' music is dated because of the technology and equipment used in recording it. Early 80's pop music in particular.

I asked Jon if I would be able to pick up on 23rd December, and he said he was hoping to have it all finished on Tuesday. He will let me know about any problems, but he is pretty much on assembly now.

My Shukers are 32", but that's because they have an extra 2 frets al la Kubicki. I now have a Snapdragon folding bass, 29", which when i have restrung, will become my main rehearsal bass, and backup bass.

tbf some guitar amps do need to cranked up to hit the sweet spot. But if that's the case maybe a power brake could be used at rehearsals?
