Amazing head and becoming a strong favourite in the bass community. Comes with a nice cover too and has just been serviced by Dave G at Ashdown. One of the VU lamps isn’t lighting up but the amp works as it should, it doesn’t effect the function. TRADES WELCOME Ideally I would be interested in something like a Quilter as a small back up amp for gigs or something along those lines. I am pretty sorted for big behemoth valve amps so something that'll tuck into a bag with a bit of headroom for stage volume would be grand. Price includes UK Shipping. Elevate your bass game with the Ashdown 'Head of Doom' Geezer Butler Signature Bass Amp Head. This exceptional creation was meticulously crafted in the UK Custom Shop to meet the exacting standards of Geezer Butler, the iconic bassist of Black Sabbath. The story of Ashdown and Geezer Butler's collaboration began three years ago, culminating in the creation of the Head of Doom. This amp head is a tour de force for bass players seeking classic, driven bass tones with immense power. Built on Ashdown's flagship ABM range, it offers rock-solid reliability and tried-and-tested tone. What sets the Head of Doom apart is its sophisticated 9-band EQ, featuring Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, along with six sliders for precise cut and boost in tonal regions beyond the standard controls.

Well we do always complain that we never get an accurate description on a sales listing 😂

Ok so mine have just arrived from La Bella in the states. First impressions are they feel really nice, on the flats side of things rather than rounds to my touch, smoother feeling annd not knobbly, and they are lively as you’d expect. Not sticky at all and come with 2 tone sexy silks too😂 I use TI’s mainly as my go to flats so the tension on these is a fair bit stiffer but it feels very precise and accurate when I play. With a pic they sound glorious when you attack. Only had a 30 min noodle but so far im impressed, which is good as I bought 4 sets. I reckon when they’ve been gigged and bed in they’ll be better too.

Yeah all the 72 P's I have in stock have the longer G screw mate

This Trace Elliot ELF never ceases to amaze me!!!!
walshy replied to Mike Bungo's topic in Amps and Cabs
Ive just ordered a THREE10 this morning, cant wait. On the ELF, I was thinking of buying one purely as a back up just in case amp should the main valve amp suffer a fault. Are these really that good? Just for stage noise, the main sound is DI to a PA -
I use TI flats in a Foo Fighters tribute, absolutely works wonderfully. Flats can 100% rock hard with nice lows and the mids really cut with the TI's. I use Daddario Half Rounds on my Rippers with a Nirvana Tribute too.
