1. What about my statement isn't true? Is it not true what I said?
2. To clarify the comment I made, he will still be a member on this site but will be banned, per se, when his posting rights are taken away from him and he can no longer use this site. Plenty of 'banned' members still on here who have just had their posting rights taken away from them.
3. Of course he won't be banned. Just suspended from posting indefinitely. Gotta keep those advertisers happy.
4. Why should white people have to apologise for being white people? I don't get it and never will.
5. Nah mate, just outdated views. Probably still rationing food.
6.
What do you think "FTW" means ? It's been on some bikers leathers since the 60s
Fail! It's 2017 grandad!
7.
nice to see megadeth finally get a grammy
Didn't know that - well overdue IMO.
8. Neotech Mega Strap. Got fed up of the Mono slipping down all the time.
9. Why don't you practice on your own bass that suits you and maybe you can be as good as your heroes? Just play the bloody thing!
10.
There's a lot going on in Birmingham, also excellent transport links to Wolverhampton and Coventry which are also pretty decent.
Coventry is dead! For original bands at least. Far too many pay to play venues.
11. DR Lo Rider Steels! They are like Rotos sound wise but are smoother, last longer and just cut through the mix so well. I buy strings from the US via eBay and never get stung for customs. Including postage it normally works out £20 for a set.
12. Thought I would bump this thread - Tonight I auditioned for a band looking for a bass player. Audiiton went well and they asked me to join there and then. Tight band with some catchy tunes - but they have a gimmick. On stage they wear jodhpurs and riding boots. Okay, some bands like to stand out from the crowd but is this necessary?! Could be a double denim onesie so I guess it's not that bad...
13.
The Jazz basses he used didn't work live at all imo, the Fenderay does do what he needs it too, I've seen him live with various basses other than a pukka Ray and I'm not really a fan of his live sound whatever he uses but I find that with most bass sounds that use FX tbh.
Flea is usually minimal on effects live though? Bit of overdrive for a couple songs but that's it. I didn't like his tone on the latest album but when I saw them live a few weeks back when he was using the FenderRay, his tone was awesome.
14. La Bella LTFs are amazing. Like TIs but with a proper flat sound.
15.
actually there was an interview with Oz before the final show and he was very comprehensible, he's been clean for 5 years (fags, booze and drugs) a million miles away for the shambling wreck he was in the Osbournes
Well that's not true. He admitted to being back on drugs for a while shortly after 13 came out.
16. David Ellefson is not one to listen to if you like imperfections - absolute machine.
17. Ampeg SVT and 8x10. Really lightweight if someone else is moving it for you.
18.
no
Yes.
19. Lmao at all the people saying they're better than Rotos!
