La Bella wanted a recording. [i]Seriously[/i]. Get a free set one dead string at a time... DR are useless in my experience with customer service. It's a shame because I love their strings!

I bought a set of XL Nickel Rounds once - dead G in the set. Contacted D'Addario and had a replacement within a week.

One Direction are overpriced but they did alright. Badge sells the bass, not the actual instrument.

I chose Fodera/Ritter/Wal/Sei/Enfield/Gus/ACG/Marzucockinmypants/Status/Shuker because I couldn't get that sound from a Fender. Or my technique is way off.

Turn up to a gig without a cab. No monitors. Other band won't lend you theirs. You don't have IEM. Then what? You need a cab.

The thing is, balanced tension doesn't equal a balanced tone across the strings.

I didn't say owning one is snobbish. They are very overpriced though.

TIs or La Bella low tension flats if you have hand issues.

I get the 'Fender' sound and how many people want it but so many builders now do it better at a lower price.

People see a badge and want it. Like wine, tasting with their eyes. Snobs as most people call them.
