Ah Ok, i understand. IM sure Strings direct will have them in stock soon. It might even be worth emailing them as they are very helpful, they might be able to get a set in for you. Ive had stuff from them in the past even though they didn't stock the things i wanted.

I was going to suggest Stringsdirect but couldn't see them on that website. If I've read it right the OP is asking about the Stainless steels coated strings, not the nickel ones. Edited to correct myself.

Its probably worth asking the seller. I think mine was just under 8.5lbs but im sure they vary slightly. I could weigh mine tonight but it has a Lakland neck on it and different bridge so it wouldn't be an accurate stock weight. I can tell you its the lightest bass ive ever owned, even lighter than my CV Jazz.

In the Midnight Hour has a great, repetitive bass line. My current fav is Lets get retarded by the Black eyed peas. fantastic bass line IMO. Again, No, not in my experience but thats just on a P bass. At the last gig i had both my Snark and PW tuner on all through the gig (i was bored) and i found the PW tuner to be a bit quicker to show the pitch but that might be down to the different display systems used. Both were spot on though and that's with the band playing.

Thanks BJ. I feel a bit like im letting the side down, especially after all your hard work, but yes, when work calls you have to go running (or limping in Fran's case;-) I was supposed to be in on Sunday but the guy doing Sat has suddenly become "ill" over the last two days

I wonder if she is still there lol. Last year there was a couple of rather drunk city types having, what can only be described as bad sex on that sofa. At least, they were trying their best to. Right i have some bad, and rather embarrassing news. Ive been "asked" to work tomorrow morning in a rather forceful way, so it looks like i too will have to pull out as by the time im finished i doubt i'll much time to eat, wash and get reddy before leaving for the gig. If i can pop over i will but it will depend on what time i finish here. I feel really bad about doing this so close but there isnt a lot i can do to get out of it. If anything changes i will of course be there but if i dont see you all tomorrow have a good one.
