1. I know that the US models with graphite rods hold tune better. I imagine wood in teh neck has something to do with it too; more rigid wood might give less to temprature changes. The basses I've had with tired tuners always wandered out of tune. The Sperzel tuners on my BD Precision are very tight and old well. Just my $0.02
2. She doesn't need a sport, dingus - just eating less food works quite well
3. Surprised this is still here, I had a grey one which had a thin neck that was nice to play
4. My bass doc built P is always in tune. My jap jazz used to wander a bit. I do think the quality and tension of the machine heads has a lot to do with this question
5.
another one for google here, we have a band calender that everyone can log on to, works pretty well, we get the occasional cock up but it's a lot better than anything else we've tried
Integrates well with phones too
6.
That's a lovely looking bass mate! Was intrigued by the earlier description sans photos - now I see what you're talking about! That's well tasty
Yep agree with mr biscuits
7. Overpriced IMHO if it's a beater
8.
As most people here have commented, I agree with keeping it simple. I have a Streamliner into a Berg 4x10, everything is flat on the amp and the bass, I'm confident of the sound I'm going to get every time. On occasion I might tweak the cab to the room but it's very rare I do that.
Agree - precision into a hartke hydrive 2x 10 with the controls flat. Doesn't need changing
9. Actually I did start playing bass after hearing Adam clayton. I just liked bass and played "under a blood red sky" a lot when I was a teen. He was very up in the mix and whilst not the most technical ever, played things that worked in the context and that I could imagine that I could do myself one day
10. Again - not sure what they add. Yes Bono is a good investor but that's not the same as steering company direction
11. Trying a wider audience on gumtree also so may disappear without warning Inexplicable but market is slow
12. Want want want

15. Thanks for the affirmation on price
16. Yes me too - did think i had overpriced it but I've been away overseas and haven't been pushing it as I've not been here
17. I'm toying with the idea of flats. I currently use 45 105 rounds . What gauge flats should I get to avoid fiddling too much with the neck Thanks @bassdoc particularly interested in your view; this is for the 73 replica precision you built for me last year
18. He says sale only in post two
19. Bump Make me a sensible offer
