1. Sweet home Chicago ? Train kept a rolling perhaps
2. Maiden feedback ... Alice and her equally charming husband were as punctual as could be expected for the location, easy to deal with, quick to pay and good at communicating. Happy to recommend and I'm glad that she is happy with her purchase.
3.
This may be a silly question, but if these are the original strings is it worth hanging onto them should I decide to sell in the future?
No not really
4. Oh dear - hit the screen again ... Tissue time

**SOLD**

Dont usually like single cut basses but that is nice
6. I'm bumping this because it is lovely (although Insufficiently battered of course).
7.
Ok probably not the best way to put, We all play for fun. What I was trying to say was does anybody just enjoy playing along to songs on there music player? I know there is a hell of a lot of people on here who are in bands. I'm a bedroom player and will probably remain that way for the foreseeable future. I could never picture myself in a band or jamming situation. I just wondered if there are other people out there doing the same. How do you know your good or confident enough with your own ability to play in front of strangers? The thought of it scares the crap out of me.
Wit'ya there
8. Rudeness is not unique to the young, but I do think I agree about the sense of entitlement as the step parent of a work shy late teen.
9. I had just the same feeling about that white mim jazz, mr G. Nothing wrong with it, just not right enough for me. Like with partners, you just know when you find it. Don't over-analyse is my advice, move it on if it's not sparkling for you, and let someone else enjoy
10. They are premium but serial numbers aren't a dead reckoning - be sure what you're buying
11. I'm a law graduate and so thoroughly approve of this law. Subject to meaningful consent of all parties.
12.
Thanks, but I only photograph a little younger than my chronological age. Face to face I look all of 61, no big deal. However, it brings up another part of discussing "The Aging Local Rock Musician" I don't go out of my way to look old where I see a lot cats my age do. I don't try and dress like a 20 year old but I also don't try and think too much about what a 61 year old should wear or look like. Blue
Nice looking lady there, Mr Blue
13.
She has to dust them? !! Surely you jest
They are in a room that she cleans - I do the lions share of housework as well as working full time hence limited practice time
14. Don't think I'm naturally talented but after lots of dogged listening I can hear the beat and unfailingly hit the one each time, really struggled with that at school. I started with a cheapl Spanish and then e guitar for years then found bass. A precision bass, naturally
15. We have an understanding that "three is enough" as she has to dust them and as long as they are visibly different and do different things. I have a 12 string acoustic, a vintage stingray copy and a precision - I do buy things to try them but the rule is that something goes if I want to keep the new thing. We have a small house and I have limited free time and this seems reasonable to me
16. You bought a caravan without checking this out first ? Crazy
17.
Relic'ed 70's, eh..? I have to assume that my '72 is naturally relic'ed as it was acquired in 1989 (IIRC) before there was such a thing as Relic'ing...
Looking in close up the paint looks like a thinner layer than mine . I couldn't do those scrapes like near the strap buttons and expect to get through to the wood like that
18. Probably Like this one so much that i already had it on my phone lock screen - found it on google images
19. one thing I do notice is that my bass has got very thick paint compared to that jazz above.
20. item arrived quicker than a fast thing attached to a faster thing that had nothing in its way.
21.
Go for the Squier vintage modified P bass or the Classic Vibe P bass. both are available in white and have better build quality/pickups/hardware than the standard series dude. I've played them both and they're both stunning basses to play.
This. I had a VMP and it was awesome
