1.
I've always been curious about warwicks. I like the look of the corvette and streamer but there seem to be so many different versions that I wouldn't know if I was getting a good deal or not if I bought used. I guess I could afford a new rock bass version. Trouble with living in Cornwall is it's pretty hard to get anywhere yo try these things out!
I had a Warwick corvette std active - German model It was dirty and didn't fetch much in eBay so I was lucky there - very nice and recommended
 2.
Garage band on the iPhone is really useable. Check out this track I made about 2 years ago. It's got it's flaws but it was made completely on an iPhone 4 using GarageBand. https://m.soundcloud.com/theboysings/mama-leave-a-light-on-poor-boy
Totally amazing
 3.
Fascinating - have you checked whether the bairn can actually have dual nationality?
She does We had to decide which passport to apply for in order to bring her home We took her back to the same hospital to visit as a one year old - she met her nurses and neonatal clinicians Her name comes from Amelia street, near the hospital in FL
 4. I've got five of these as I bought a few more once I'd tried them. I have imposed my own one p bass limit (gasp) so these have been gathering dust Picture here https://onedrive.liv...3&ithint=photo% Fit my Japanese bitsa and also a mex p bass I once owned but obviously you may need to move a screw slightly -happy to supply measurements upon request £9 to you plus second class postage at cost £2.80 PayPal gift (no fees please) or bank transfer Nb 1. these do not fit a jap 70s closet classic particularly well, (I'm told) - not tried it myself . 2. Matt freeman model has a wide control cavity and reportedly a tiny gap is present but suggest that would also be true of any aftermarket plate 3. Affinity p bass needs slight sanding around neck joint and the pickup moving slightly 4. There is no cutout for the truss rod, but you can easily file one or sand one out with a dremel
 5.
So you're out on parole then?
In a manner of speaking - partner was pregnant and baby popped out unexpectedly early and was in hospital for quite a while. A fellow citizen of blue's
 6. I do understand - I went to Florida last year for two weeks and got stuck. For two months - saw a whole new side to the U.S.
 7. Number 1 or both if possible
 8. I'm not going to be quite that provocative - round here there are no bass players and I've had lots of offers to play. My relic p bass gets lots of admirers too from those who've seen them but never touched one or consciously heard one (the vicar is a big fan). I may as well have walked in with a balalaika in pink paisley Sadly some of the offers to join are beyond my low ability or repertoire at the moment but it happens often.
 9.
do you want an open mic or a Jam session, the Hop Pole is mostly open mic, I think the one Kev B mentioned are Jam sessions
Either really - happy to try both. Dont get much opractice time at home although partner happy to give me night off for OM nights at church
 10.
the Hop Pole have one on 2 Fridays per month
Thanks - chap in cross play next mentioned the hop pole

 13. I'm Planning to sell my classic 50s p pickup soon - is that of interest ?
 14.
Most of the open mics in my neck of the woods are predominantly acoustic and there's not a bass in sight.
Yep definitely the ONLY bass player in the village at my local one.
 15. I've had one of these (back in the dark days of six string evilness ) - quality item
 16.
Oh God yes.
Place i go there is one guitarist who describes himself as "good on a bad day and f&&@ing awesome on a good day"and on his slot he spent nine minutes widdling away on his les Paul copy I don't think the vicar, mums, dads and assorted tired children knew what to make of it
 17. No - seen the same. Reasonable opinion in my view
 18. The church one I go to, basses are unheard of and people started clapping along as soon as I started playing Which was nice Don't think they had ever seen a bass before
 19. Up here in the frozen north 20 is more normal
 20. You might be paying over the odds there, I would think. Yes I gained from 121 lessons for sure
 21.
Ok fair enough Please gents keep offers of sales to p.m. only. I don't want to do any locking or deleting because the OT is a genuine request for info, so please keep all replies as advisory only. Thanks.
22. on ebay, "only music", blues tribute model, nice and punchy failing that, I'm selling a pickup out of a classic 50s model?
