I had one - US feel for less money, I didn't care about the case and the graphite rods

I think both 51-57 and actual telecaster bass look cool beyond words so I'd love to try either

I'm not sure I'd pay all that, I go with an earlier poster who suggests you could get a luthier to do an amazing job with fender or mighty mite parts for a lot less

Sounds like long term trouble whatever happens, I'd walk
