1. Come to think of it, havent seen you much on here Linus! Hope all is well and you are playing more than I am!
 2. If this is basically the Genz version of the MB Walkabout, I can see it selling very well. We shall see. Despite my initial reactions with a Shuttle 9.0, im tempted by one at the moment.
 3. If you like very crisp and super pingy top end (Marcus Miller slap tone) the RH450 isnt suitable. Its more lo-mid focussed. There is PLENTY of definition and treble for me.
 4. Excellent taste Prime_BASS; White is awesome.
 5. Actually, I was wondering where he was! Hope he is well etc
 6.
Indeed it was, turns out the drummer is a premature-advertiser!
Thats exactly what happened to me. Idiots. Makes me think practicing at home is actual more fun and less hassle.
 7. Withdrawn. Unplanned house move means I really don't have the time for changing or messing about with my amp collection. Thanks!

 9. Is it neo? Id like to view it, but Im a little LoWw on tIM.
 10.
Well it has happened again, after an extremely bad (on all sides) practice on monday the band have decided it's just not working with me as a bassist. Gutted? Yep! On the plus side, the music wasn't as heavy as I would have liked so this gets me the opportunity to go looking for something 'a bit more my style'. On the down side, they had their own practice space and would have been gigging early next year Oh well, NEXT!!!
Gutted. Welcome to my world (well half getting there, but not satisfied). Just found out my old band are touring four times next year....severely annoyed with myself for trying to move and further my career only to be met with crap landlords, crap bands (although the lads I'm with at the moment are great we just need to get going, the bands before have been crap though!) and a job I dont like.
 11. The Markbass is super clean, but very 'warm' due to its design and Class A/B poweramp. This makes it often sound like a 'faster' tube amp but without the actual overdrive tubes make. The Shuttle amps, (the 9.0 is what interests me) are very very clean and quite 'precise' in their sound, and you can have a bit of tube overdrive type tone if you set the input gain up like that. The Shuttle amps dont have that inherent warmth like the MB amps IMO....although the 9.0 is much closer. Thanks chaps! After my news yesterday of having to find a new apartment asap (landlord has sold it) myself and the missus are going to be VERY busy, so im probably just going to keep this instead of messing about and selling. Few more days, then ill withdraw.

 13.
That Streamliner looks interesting that hasbeen has just announced on TB.
Time for a new topic!
 14. Congrats, another fan!
 15.
Erm, they did. http://line6.com/variaxbass/
Thats surprisingly nice!
 16.
But they are more expensive, aren't they?
2009 was a limited white year, and it was the same price for my guitar PPC212. Nice looking cab It was the same price as the Orange versions.
 17.
And as I liked the Orange head so much I took the plunge with the matching cab! Screamingly good fun and really punches out the tone!
CUTE! Love it
 18.
Thanks mate. Since this thread wound up my main stack has become the shuttle with two bergantino ae210's and I can honestly say...'I'm happy with my amp"
Glad Apparently once you fathom the odd input on the 9.0 and open the volume up (eg half way on Markbass is almost all of your volume, whereas Genz amps keep on giving right upto full) it starts to shine
 19.
... shuttle... I'm guessing? quite a difference in weight from your tc stuff to your orange!
Yeah....and ive just realised I may as well just buy a Shuttle 9.0 and have a fiddle with both for a few months. I am an amp hoarder! We shall see.
All these great items not selling hurts my feelings, if I had the cash though I'd have this. Free bump
Cheers, and agreed.
 20.
Hardly revolutionary though G Hipshot, Schaller, etc. have been making superb bridges for ages, Fender ignored them until a couple of years ago.
Agreed, its about time they got it right. I do think its a nice design though. Im not keen on some of the other higher mass bridges, and its comfy to resr your little finger around if picking near the bridge.
 21.
i've been looking at the shuttle 9 with a view to buying so very interested to read related opinions
Well...Ive tried to avoid a 9.0, but I want to try one again. Argh.
 22. Had a few PM's already, and replied, still here. A picture of the cab is here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach...st&id=44974
 23. I sold my TU-2 to buy the TC Polytune. Its apparently more accurate (I think the same as the TU-3) and basically because I quite like the TC designs and how slick their pedals are. Its also very small and has two tuning modes.
 24.
i don't think I have anything of interest to you, so just asking out of curiosity. But what sort of different thing would you be after?
Hi! I THINK im looking for a different flavour of lightweight amp....
