  1. The Sires are gone but I have an Aguilar bridge and a neck pick that I can’t remember what the make was that I could possibly part with. I’ve also got the Maidavale set still available too.
  2. Last time I lubed my fingers I kept slipping of the G string.
  3. Did an outdoor blues/Dad rock gig with my recently purchased Eden WT550 yesterday (3rd WT i've owned to date)- A/B it against my usual gig amp, a Markbass LMTube, and the Eden blew the MB out the water by a country mile - heft, heft and more heft! You could just feel something that the Markbass lacked., which bought a satisfaction i haven't felt in a while either. The Eden maybe heavy by comparison to the Class D stuff but the sounds are to die for. Some of the best amps ever made the WT series! Someone buy this bargain, I'm sure you'll love it - GLWTS.
  4. Here goes, finally decided to put my baby up for sale after procrastinating for many months - only selling to part fund a family USA holiday next year. This is my pride and joy so go easy, and by far the best bass i will have ever owned bar none! All original genuine 74 P goodness from Fender apart from currently fitted with Kiogon loom due to scratchy tone pot on originals (included), old pots are functional but just opted for the ease of the kiogon loom. Original 70's case. B width neck , a nice light 8.8lbs and sounds and plays truly superb...I guess that should be obvious by the real players mojo! Ash trays and tug bar included, chip to scratch plate by jack but glued. Truss rod and tuners are fine, everything is functioning fine and will for years to come. Now, i would consider a part trade of a cheaper P bass only i.e. Fender, Lakland, Squiers etc, must be under 9lbs in weight and up to max value of £700 as i need to clear 2K to keep Mrs Raslee happy. Viewing most welcome, Plymouth, happy to courier if buyer arranges this and accepts all risk -cash in my account first of course. Right i am off to wipe the tears! Here's the funk:-
  5. Eclectic mix: Parliament/funkadelic (P Funk), JTQ, Roni size, Rudmental (currently watching), Damien Marley, Dreadzone, Gong/Hillage, Ozrics, Dua Lipa, Vibronics, Snarky Puppy, Cory Wong, The Fearless Flyers, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, Led Zepplin, Afro Celt soundsystem, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Warpaint, Dr . Funk, Bootsy Collins, Squarepusher, Muse & The Dubliners.
  6. On hold: Bought a Classic Vibe jazz off here a few days ago with a plan to use the lovely colorued Daphne Blue body with my USA maple Fender neck. Fitted right away and works like the dream I had in mind - so the original neck is now up for grabs. Classic Vibe jazz neck, we all know how good these are! This one is pretty much pristine with a nice lightly sanded neck to remove the sticky gloss, feels great! Neck plate also included.

At least somebody eventually turned up...the fiasco is over (hopefully)

  9. Buy an Ibanez musician and thank me later
  10. Pm me as I’m going to be selling my Mocha 74 soon. This jazz is a beauty too.
  11. I think the amp I’ve enjoyed most has been the Eden WT series, the 800 & I currently own, and probably my third owned, is the WT550. For versatility I miss the Carvin BX1500 that I’ve sold on, loud, clean and just all round greatness. The Blackstar Unity 700 is also a fantastic and versatile amp. The amp I’ve probably used the most over the years is the Orange OTB and I really liked the baked in sound, despite lack of versatility (IMO). Although trusty Markbass is what I always come back to with my favourite being the Little Mark Tube, to which I currently own. A shout out to the Genzler Magdalen too…that was a beaut with fond memories. But despite the weight of my Eden WT550, that is the deal!
  12. Would consider trades against another bass, but I’m good for Jazz basses currently. Could + cash if necessary.
  13. Selling my Little Mark bass combo. Bought sometime ago off here and have barely used since then, sounds great and is super light - perfect for acoustic gigs. It has a Roqsolid cover too. £180 posted in the UK
  14. Selling my Blackstar to raise some funds towards a big holiday next year in the old USA. Bought from new last year, never gigged just light home use. I have an Markbass amp I use mainly but my Eden WT550 is my go to for gigs, however the Blackstar is up there in terms of tone. Being mostly a backup it is in top condition, complete with a top quality amp bag & Footswitch. Very versatile with multiple valve sounds, distortions, octave, chorus and amp voicing from modern, clean & vintage - all switchable with the included Footswitch. The compressor is also really good. The amp itself can go to 2.67 ohms so you can use a 4 & 8 ohm cab together, or 3 x 8ohm cabs - very loud! A really excellent and underrated amp. Mega Bargain £300 posted
  15. One soon in, so one sadly out. Nice bitsa, decent body from the UK - it’s either Ash or alder anyhow. Fender Yosemite pickups with lovely growl on the upper mids. A Sire V7 neck, honestly one of the nicest necks I’ve ever played - super smooth, rolled edges and complete with Sadowsky tuners - what’s not to like? Plays and sounds great, low action. Pickguard can be changed to white or red tort if preferred. A few minor marks from gig usage but nothing major or of concern. An accurate 9.1lb so much lighter than the Sire the neck originally came from. SOLD
  16. Selling as I have too many amps (6 in total) and I’m saving for a family trip to the states (expect to see the Blackstar amp for sale at some point but mindful someone already has one up for sale first…will even be parting with my pride & joy 74 Precision soon 😭) So the TC - Brilliant amp which I’d like to keep, particularly as the built in tuner, spectracomp compressor (via the tone print) and other FX via tone print has been brilliant, great tones to be had. 550 watts @ 4 ohms. Barely used other than living room use so excellent condition. Comes with a handy GigSkinz amp bag. SOLD
  17. You’ll have to let me know how much as it may work out cheaper than me buying new 😊
