5. Fe sure, totally Robbie Shakespeare , Lloyd P., - all dem riddim studio 1 kings that new what phat bass meant.....But Fam's is the Teacha! - seen! gwan keep dem fyah blazin fe I&I Jah ....Rasatafari Becoming a bass player means being unable to listen to music without homing in on the bass part. This tendency can make it hard to relate to others. I look longingly at non-musician friends who seem to absorb music with blissful ignorance, responding to the song in its instrumental totality while I analyze the bass performance. But with reggae, we can get along. It gives those same friends a glimpse into full bass appreciation by dint of its undeniable bass heaviness. Whether or not you jive with reggae’s ganja-laced religious overtones, it has a uniquely dependent relationship on our instrument that you have to love. Reggae musicians crave bass—the kind that ripples through the body and stirs the soul. Blessed love Irie ites
 6. Hi Telebass, ah joyous Plymouth (outer Plymouth thankfully!)
 7. Cheers for the comments bass brethrens, yeah Dave the bass on the right is my new bass 75 Reissue USA model...it's a 1998 model....great bass but i think the 2004 has a better sound...but the reissue has the looks i've always wanted and the quality is astounding. Thinking of upgradin the PU's in the reissue to some Villex as i heard they're good for reggae. Will be sad to see the 2004 go but as i borrowed money of the wifey for the reissue....well you know the drill! The Hohner too is a great bass, love it lots and it'll be sadly missed but i have the reissue and a Laky 5 so i am more than spoilt these days! If no takers by roughly a week today then they'll be on the bay. Cheers, Rasta

Great to see you've got the proper fams bass!
Cheers paul, yeah i got the reissue for that reason entirely...Familyman, Bootsy and Jaco are the three wise guru's IMO But at heart i'm a reggaemon! Attached is a picky of my beloved 5502 Lakland also....feel well posh these days considering i came from the ghetto with a cheap Spanish acoustic guitar with bass strings on it!
 11. Hi, just recently purchased a 75 reissue so old faithful and the cricket bat has to go! ***********NEW PHOTO'S ADDED - GOTO TO BOTTOM OF PAGE AND CLICK ON LINKS, or try these below if they work************************ http://picasaweb.google.com/Mr.LeeStone/FenderJazz http://picasaweb.google.com/Mr.LeeStone/Hohner Fender Jazz, 4 string, 2004, Sunset Translucent Orange (you can see the Ash wood grain through the colour, more like a red colour than orange IMO..very pretty though!), American Series - Ash body, Rosewood neck, S1 switching, Fender Case and fender warranty and tools etc...a few gig dings but nothing that takes away character, kept as standard with no modifications as it doesn't need any...this bass sounds beautiful which is why i bought this one in the first place over several other Jazzes that i tried!...condition wise i'd say 9/10. can email morer pics if your interested, just PM your email address. £425 + P&P (i assume about £25) (Cost £850 back in 2004 - Mansons Exeter) Hohner B2AV 5 string, bit like a Steinberger. Headless and small, Phat sound particularly suited to reggae, trip hop, drum n bass, heavy rock and phat fonk. Emg select pick ups, active and passive, has a cool red LED light when in active mode, very light, Synapse hook purchased from Steinberger to help the bass balance and sit better (this is removable), this is a quality small bass with a large sound....you will not be dissappointed, Colour Mahogany condition 8.5/10 (has a small little scratch top of neck) £200 + P&P (i assume about £10-£15 ish) (Cost £375 back in 2005) See attached cheesey gig pictures of these basses. Could be interested in a trade for an EDEN WT550/ Metro/world series or AMPEG SVT 3 or 4 amp or an AMPEG 8x10 (Cash either way....pending Wifeys approval) PM me for any further info or questions etc, leave your email too as i repond better to these. I am away at a festival next few days so i'll reply upon my return if i haven't already (and if i do a festi runner and become a full time Hare Chrishna you wont here from me at all) - All the best (The bass for sale is the red one btw in the pic, because of the light you can't see the decal but of course it is there...all normal! I alos have the original white pickguard which i'll throw in and a special made black one with a lion picture on for the reggae, optional if you want that one )
