  1. I will probably be in the market for a lightweight 5 later this year and the EHB1505 in blue is really peaking my interest. Has anyone got any information on the weight of these per chance?
  2. My kids put me through some of this...what utter shite!
  3. Uptown Skunk Three little birds Hey Jude...24hr version
  4. Ahh, ok - nice choice 😊
  5. @bubinga5 - this is what you need mate for your Shuttle head
  6. May trade for a 5string under 9lbs
  7. ^^^ This! I have recently got a Shutttle 6.2 and really liking it a lot. I already owned the Genz Neox 212 (Mk2 model), which incidentally is my second one having majorly regretted selling the first, and I have to say it’s a match made in heaven.
  8. Cheers buddy 😊 Now reduced to a healthy £300 before parting out.
  9. Same here, looks great, noisy fan...but at that price what's not to like!?!
  10. SOLD A lovely authentic looking P bass comprising of: Fender Hi mass bridge, MIJ Fender Neck, Fender neckplate, Kiogon wiring to a wonderful vintage sounding Lollar pick up. Body I believe is from a Legend bass, unsure of wood but clearly not ply. Fresh Dunlop rounds stainless strings. The body externally has the usual usage dings, scratch mark on the back of body seen in pics and 'under the hood' there is a big chunk of wood which has been removed butchered by chisel to reduce the overall weight, despite this it is now a healthy 8.4lb. It’s really not pretty under the hood so best not to go there but with the pickguard on it looks a proper Jamerson beauty. The neck was varnished by a past owner to make it more vintage looking, not the best job by far but it is smooth and the rosewood is super smooth - small mark noticeable in the pics but doesn't effect play-ability, never noticed it until looking at this picture. Overall a great vintage bass, lovely smooth neck and with the best sounding P pickup in my opinion. Action is great and it really delivers the classic P sound with the Lollars. If preferred I do have a 90’s Blue Squier body (see bottom pics) which can be fitted but brings the bass to just under 10lbs in weight (too heavy for me) – sounds bloody ace though! Add an extra £20 to the price if wanting this body fitted instead of the sunburst. SOLD
  11. I have struggled...but then I saw my Stingray Special
  12. I’ve recently picked up one of these, brilliant basses.
  13. This one, twice in a month - 7 piece functions band, lots of gear/lights, 133 steps and no lift, in the hurricane wind and rain. Oh, and the occasional landslide.....I took a brief hiatus after that month. I give you - ‘Lusty Glaze’ - Cornwall....looks can be deceiving 😱
  14. Nice colour! I’ve been watching your thread with interest as I have a passive 87’ Fender Jazz Special (The one that G N R Duff uses). They’re superbly made basses and like you say they really do play brilliant 😊
  15. Packing up the amps and thought it funny that despite the Elf being the smaller Amp, it has the bigger box
  16. Thanks, yeah it sounded really nice with both the amps pictured. I have a Markbass 802 for my small gig needs now and am sticking with that having regretted selling my first 802 sometime back, although the above combinations are certainly lighter.
  17. PM’s replies Elf on hold 😊
  18. Surplus to requirements SolD: Eden EX10, well used few scuffs etc, speaker changed as whizzy died (although I still have this) - new speaker changed recently and is a lovely Celestion BN10-300X 4ohm NEO Bass. Quite lighter than previous speaker £80 + courier costs. Plenty of specs, reviews and videos online.
  19. This is one of the more government conscious forms of therapy we’re currently be encouraged to deliver in my line of work; maybe applicable to your situation or on going therapy:
  20. The new Stingray Specials are the holy grail IMO. Lots of versatility with the new pickup system, light, perfectly balanced and play beautifully. Only downside is they’re so expensive.
  21. Offers for this scrumptious delight? It really is a great vintage P bass. Original electrics included. Trades welcome, can add a little cash for an amp.
  22. May trade for Amp circa £350 (can add cash top up)
