  1. Yes me too..especially BSSM.
  2. Josh was great, but John is the messiah...great news
  3. I’m sure the buyer of this one will feel very much the same 😊
  4. Nobody want the the best amp available to mankind? Could potentially take another amp in part trade, and at least £200 my way now....so yours worth around £350.
  5. May entertain trades now.
  6. Top quality acoustic basses these. GLWTS
  7. You could well be right. It does have Taiwan stamped in the headstock and the serial starts with a 91 - 1991 perhaps? The guy I bought it off claimed it to be an 80’s but my knowledge on Yamaha BB’s is very little.
  8. Cheers chaps
  9. One in/ one out policy now truly in enforced place by Mrs Raslee and as I have another incoming P so this one can go to make some much needed space. So here we have a funky strawberry red Late 80’s/1990's Yamaha BB200. When I got it, it had been neglected - poor set up, strings on wrong and dodgy electrics - yet structurally the bass still felt very good indeed. I decided to treat this bass and upgraded with a Tone Rider pick up with whipped creamy covers, Kiogon wiring loom and a Gotoh bridge. The body and neck really are great condition for its year, and now it sounds and looks fantastic with the upgrades. A lot of (vintage) BB P bass for £200 (or offer) and it plays really sweet too; I won’t be too concerned if it doesn’t sell too quickly TBH but it is sitting here begging to be taken out. Original Yamaha pickups also included. Collect from Plymouth or will post in the UK for £20 - extra if abroad.

  11. The third picture up from here looks like nicks but is actually just the amp screws and my shite photography skills. Also now £500 plus P&P or potential trade for P bass (Nate Mendal MIA, Sandberg - WHY) May also trade this and my amazing and very light Atelier Z jazz towards a decent P (£1500 area).
  12. Yep checked over and certainly no nicks, Or any scuffs, I’ve seen combos in worse condition on shop displays 😂- this one is in excellent condition. Even the screen protector is still on the digiscreen. If anyone needs any further information or pictures just ask.
  13. Hi mate, no nicks etc. I’ll get some pics in the morning as an out at present.
  14. Love that colour combination, the tort looks just fine - love it
  15. Now may consider a deal with a P bass, can add a couple of hundred £'s to trade up.
  16. Sad to see this go but am being realistic about gear that is simply not getting used right now. I've had this just under 12 month and owned from new. It's only really been used over a 6 month period in that time, mostly at home. It is in excellent condition and only be out for 3-4 band rehearsals before that band eventually split; it has therefore been sat in my conservatory begging to be played ever since, its a crime really. It comes with a Roqsolid cover, a sturdy Fender foot-switch which controls the effects on/off etc, switches between different patches easily and controls the inbuilt looper and tuner functions. It does quite a lot of things really, Bluetooth your music through it for a practice, download patches if you want use others sounds.....etc etc etc As well as it technical prowess it really is a fantastic sounding piece of kit with excellent quality effects that are equally easy to program - especially for a technophobe like me! (you can even change settings via your phone - super handy). The amp simulators are also surprisingly effective, well designed and easy to set up and tweak to your taste, or even create your own patches from scratch if your that way inclined. I will really miss the 12 string emulator which pulled off a more than satisfactory sound for Pearl Jam's 'Jeremy'. It is very loud on it's own, 400w as is, through 2 x 10 Eminence woofers. Adding to the versatility is can be run with either a 8 or 4 ohm extension cab (will run to 2.67ohm) to get the full earth shattering 800 watts....oh and did i forget to say it's light ? So...the ultimate Rumble! Could courier at cost, around £30 in the UK or collect from Plymouth. Only trades, plus cash my way, would be a Barefaced Oneten (to go with my Elf), or possibly a 2x8" lightweight cab.
  17. No problems dude. Your review is more comprehensive than i would ever get around to doing. I'm intrigued by the TC 2x8", don't think I can justify the readies to splash out on the Trace 2x8" - what do you think to it?
  18. Well it was initially a disenchanting and deflated landing on the BB planet, when it arrived from the Alien merchants from Planet evilbay - it was a neglected PO💩 to be honest with a poor set up. So a big clean down, Tonerider fitted with some spare cream covers I had, a new Kiogon loom (thanks John), bit of love and a good set up and we have something much more presentable in the BB lower range. Enjoying it lots now - even if it is telephone box red - very decent P vibes to be had, action is good.,...not so much a alien 👽
  19. Awesome basses these. Sold my Lakland 5502 in preference of keeping the Cort, 34" scale with a fantastic low B - a lot of bass.
  20. Think I’m in the club - just did a home practice and I’m liking it, particularly the weight - The P weighs 9.7lbs whereas my 310 weighs in at 7.7 - lovely 😉
  21. Think I read a similar review on Amazon that said the speaker didn’t cut it 😕
  22. Played various styles of reggae for many years. Then ended up playing soul covers in a functions band several years ago. But two years ago got asked to play with a 90's Grunge outfit (distorted guitarses are still too loud!) - was a total new experience discovering mid range frequencies in Grungey rock, prefer dub. Last week the reggae guys talked about reforming (covers) which is exciting...Natty Dreadlocks will be at the dinner table 😉. Yet in between recent jams I've been gigging Madonna, B52's etc with a Ukulele band...it's all a bit eclectic these days.
  23. Ah that's really good to hear, especially about the pickups. I've become quite a fan of the cheap Tonerider PUP so that's what will replace the stock if we don't get on. Many Thanks.
