1. I think Chris and I are on our 3rd deal...... easy sale of my GK head to chris, a real pleasure to deal with. He also gave me a copy of his band's demo CD...... excellent stuff and some nifty bass playing for Chris...... very John Taylor (Duran Duran) ATB Mark
 2.
Is this the bass that Marcus used to own? If so I owned it for a period and it really is awesome.. Steve
Yes Awesome Bass Awesome Price !
 3.
Easy ..erm...to lift then
Very easy on the shoulder mate.......
 4.
Isn't it just the NYC Sads that are routed out? Having owned a Sadowsky Metro and both US and Skyline Laklands I'd go with what Marcus says. If you want a lightweight Sadowsky though I think you may need to go NYC. Peter
My RS4 59Burst is light as a feather.....
 5. In my opinion, there is a massive difference btw the Skyline and the USA instruments, certainly enough to justify the price gap. however, with the Sadowsky Metro and the NYC much less so...... Having just purchased a Metro I believe they are the very best VFM Super J you can buy ATB Mark

He does have a strange obsession with high end american amplification though. Cheers mate Chris
Look Chris...... you can be as nice to me as you like in my feedback thread but i've still not forgiven you for taking my DB750 away from me ATB mate....

 10.
I've had that a few times, I just fingerpick through the pain, it's a good feeling actually, but it kills afterwards! And the blood gets in your pickups. Funny really, cos I hate going to the dentist for fear of pain.
I've got a beauty of a blister on my middle finger...... rehearsing with a RHCP tribute band tonight...... OUCH !!!!
 11. Electro music in Doncaster - Dave Ryan's a top bloke Guitar Guitar Newcastle - Steve Grey also great to deal with
 12.
I'd love to be able to play with a pick but it's a complete mystery to me how to do it. How the hell do you keep a slippery bit of plastic from falling out of your fingers??
+1 When I first started playing I wouldn't have anything to do with a pick Pick = Guitarist There have been a number of songs (originally played with a pick) that i've had to spend a fair bit more time learning with fingers than I should have done, simply because I wouldn't use a pick.... Silly really...... recently I've tried to use a pick and it's just too alien, it's limited me is a small bit significant way.
 13.
Hey Marcus - is that 59 burst Sadowsky a recent acquisition from Guitar Guitar? I noticed it's disappeared off their site - I was gonna buy that very bass after playing Wayne58's NYC version. How is it?
The very same........ AWESOME !!
 14.
*swoon* Glad you all had a good day
takes a good photo the Hunt
 15.
Its called free speech. We all reserve the right to slag off whoever we like whether the reasons in your mind are justifiable or not. And you reserve the right to reply. I think it is great that people speak their mind on these matters and if offense takes place then good. As a great politician once said "Nobody has the right not to be offended" I don't like U2 , never have I think Bonio is an arrogant c**t In his interview with Lauren Laverne he was up his own arse, condescending and sounded pretty ordinary in the songs they did. Even his own band members are very diplomatic in what they say about him. On Jonathan Ross he went into the crowd and laid across the laps of 3 women , it was creepy and even my Mrs said "who the f*** does he think he is" and that is exactly the question, who the f*** does he think he is ?
Thought it was hilarious how one of the women (sitting in the aisle seet) just wan't bothered and was clearly thinking Tw@t !!
 16. oooohhh..... Get some Nordy Fat Stacks in that Natural Bass
 17.

He's nobody's fool
 18.
What a disappointment I like to cite the GK RBH cabs where the 4x10 has 3dB sensitivity and 9Hz LF extension on the 1x15. So f***ed if I know why Flea sticks 1x15's under his 4x10's. Cos its what people expect to see is probably the answer. http://www.gallien-krueger.com/manuals/RBH...er_s_Manual.pdf
What does he care....... he's hearing IEM's The GK is just planted on stage to keep the deal going......, he doesn't even hear the GK tone, nore do you get it FOH as he used a Radial DI to feed his IEM's FOH and the GK Rigg ! Rock Stars eh !!!
 19. Bargain of the week...... can't see this lasting the day !!!
 20.
I think it's great that the BBC are giving this, much needed, free exposure across all it's networks to the new album from one of the biggest acts in the world... ... no wait. No I don't.
And St. Bono's contribution to the show....... "Use a Condom" which ofcourse is good advice, just a shame his Father didn't think of that !!
 21. I was so bored with their performance I managed to notice that Adam Claypool is now using Aguilar (Looked like a DB750 with a DB410 15) How's he get such a crap sound with such nice gear ?!?!?
 22. Sorry to hear that Steve.... I played this on Monday Night and can confirm what's already been said...... truely one Super Jazz ATB Mark
 23. I love my Sadowsky....... you get mine when your prize it from my cold dead fingers I wish I could justify another..... I'd have been round to Chris's with the cash in minutes (well about an hour and forty mins actually) Go for it Al
 24. Think I should be able to make it.......
