I couldn't list all the dealings I've had with Howard over the last 20 years or so !!! Recently did a top job fitting EMG's into my Squier 60's Jazz, routed a lovely neat battery compartment in the rear..... My fingers are still hurting off playing his 63 Precision with 110 - 50 Flats Nice cup of coffee too...... Cheers Howie Mark

Looks great....... I remember doing something similar with pair Ashdown mini 4x8 cabs and a pair of Min 15's I used a TD650 to drive them, it was when I first set off with the U2 tribute thing, it was like a Baby Clayton / Ox Rigg ATB Mark

Guys, My time Depping with a RHCP Tribute will soon come to an End, I purchased this stunning Stingray Brand New for £1199 from Guitar Guitar just 8 weeks ago (Shop Price was £1299) after trying it out and being knocked out by the tone I sold my Modulus Flea Bass and bought this !! Anyone who know's Stingrays knows when you get a good one and this is a "Propper Belter" Feels right as soon as you pick it up...... you know what I mean ? Some Basses just do that !! Plays superbly well, with lovely low action achievable....... big ballsy Stingray tone ! Nails the Flea tone totally and does a lot more besides I'll be going back to playing Bedroom Boogie now so something different appeal... I've been offered one of my Old Basses back (should never have sold it) and i'd like to make a move on it as soon as possible The Stingray is now for sale at £700 including Shipping in the UK £675 if you collect from me MINT Condition with just 4 Gigs and a couple of rehearsals. I owned a MarkBass Rig... SA450 410 & 115 loads of volume which is impressive as hell initially, just found the sound really hollow and lacking any weight and presence in a band situation. I'd say there are better options in the 410 market (IMHO) to partner the excellent head you have. I guess you've got to ask what's wrong (if anything) with your current amp/cab set up, the MB cab will sound different to your Ashdown, but you may not like it..... Is it change for the sake of a good deal ? if so..... consider it carefully, there may be better ways to spend your hard earned ATB Mark

Owned by Entwistle ? you mean..... stored at his house for a bit !! It's not like it was his main Stage / Recording Bass for years is it ? Sure it's a nice clean example...... Now Flea's pink / white 1960.... that would be worth something, used for recording an album and most of a world tour !

Ey Up Howie....... great to have you onboard !! Mr Satterley is indeed a Bass Legend up here..... it's great to think that the rest of the UK's Bass playing fraternity can now benefit from his knowledge, experience and humour. I've never met anyone with more knowledge of the Fender Bass...... Those of you who used to buy BASSIST way back in the day may recall Howard's credit in the 2 issue feature on the History of the Fender Jazz Bass. He's also still doingt top work on basses of all kinds. Just to prove he's no snob, he's just fitted some EMG's into my Squire 60's Jazz and given it some tweaks and twists...... plays & sounds fantastic - Thanks Howard Mark

Just bought the pups out of Kevin's Marcus Miller Jazz for my Squier 60's vibe A simpler deal and a niceer chap you'll surely not meet..... Top Bloke this 6Stringbassist (Shame he has to have two too many strings tho') If Howard is reading this....... notice I spelt Squier correctly !!! ATB Mark
Jonthebass just bought my CIJ P-bass to which I had previously added a Badass bridge. This leaves me with a surplus Fender Japanese "spiral vintage" bridge from the 1990s. If anyone wants this and is happy to cover post cost (£1.45 I reckon) just let me know
PM'd
