Bought a TC Electronic Skysurfer Reverb pedal from Nick. Arrived exactly as described and in quick time. Would happily deal with Nick again, be it buying, selling or trading. Top basschatter!! Keir

I have two of these but letting one go. Synth engine based on the X station, ideally suited for electro/dance/techno genres. Big pads and basses, superb lead sounds, built in FX, arpeggiator and x-gator which has a number of options for slicing sounds up in a rhythmical way. Has a joystick for modulation and pitch bend and touchpad can be assigned to filter etc like kaoss pad Also features built in audio interface with 1/4” and XLR inputs. USB powered, plug and play with no drivers needed. boxed with USB cable and plug. No issues except keys have yellowed.

Congrats on the Korg Opsix. Looks a really nice synth! Just to say I really like the lowly Xiosynths and I’ve still got two of the 49 key ones. I play a bit of keys in my band and the Xio49 has become a fave rave of mine. I never played a better sounding synth for £100. Keir

*NOW SOLD* Sledge 2.0 synth made by Fatar. VA synth engine by Waldorf. Three oscillators (Wavetable waveforms on OSC1) Three oscillators, selectable VCF types, separate envelope generators for VCF and VCA, 2 X LFO and wheel modulation which can be assigned to most functions. Onboard arpeggiator, two FX sections for modulation and delay/reverb. Up to 1000 programmes. V2.0 has split and layering on keyboard and sample integration. Almost every function has its own control and no scrolling through menus unless it’s global parameters for MIDI/System. Only keyboard I’m really interested in is a Behringer VC340 strings/vocoder. Sorted for basses, amps and effects. sorry don’t have original box or manual. Powers up with kettle lead so no flimsy PSU to worry about. £395

Jason bought my Sterling Ray 34HH and it was an easy sale throughout. Great dealing with someone into their basses like Jason is. The man is a credit to Basschat! cheers J, hope the bass serves you well. Keir

Another shout out for the G&L Tribute JB-2. For some reason this model appears to fly under a lot of players radars when looking at the models in the Tribute range, never mind best basses under £400. It’s a real workhorse Jazz bass for those who don’t want or care for the offset body shape and the pickups sound great to my ears. I’ve never modified any of mine that I’ve owned from stock.

Paul sold me a Digitech Hardwire HT-2 tuner pedal for a small sum and it does a great job of tuning my bass. Top Basschat fella, easy transaction, arrived in good order. Highly recommended!

three wonderful G&Ls. Enjoy them! 🙂 Owning both of them, in time I’d be interested to hear what you think of the day to day, real world differences between the LB-100 and the SB-1. (I owned a tribute LB100 and never played an SB-1)

^^Oooft! Looks great.

My new Tribute JB-2 arrived today, keeping my weakness/soft spot for this model ongoing 🙂

**on hold** Got this rather nice Ray34HH via a trade last week and it’s a lovely thing but need to release some cash for more mundane stuff. Plus just committed to yet another bass and synth gear lol so needs must. The bass is from 2019 and was sold by Bass Direct. Bass is in as new condition from what I can see with no issues. There is some light scratching to pickguard as is to be expected. Pearl white finish with roasted maple neck, two MM humbuckers and five way switch. Comes with the padded Sterling gig bag. Lovely bass, just not likely to get a look in with my Sabre and Valenti around. I am on the Shropshire/Staffordshire borders. Bass can be auditioned at my place or could possibly meet fairly local. Failing that could source shipping box and send via courier if buyer arranges service and level of cover. Link to BassDirect listing for this very bass: https://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Ray_34_HH_White.html Thanks for looking Keir

Pearl white 2019 Ray34HH which came to me in a trade today.

Met Rory today at services just outside Coventry and traded basses. Had a good chat with him mostly me going on about my new love in with analogue/modular synthesisers which he knows a lot more about than I do. Really friendly fella and the bass he traded (lovely Fender 50s Classic Precision) was as exactly as described. I would definitely trade/deal with Rory again and anyone should deal with him in complete confidence. A credit to the forum! Keir

Nice! You can’t go wrong with either that bass or the colour/fingerboard combo imo🙂

I have a USA Classic Sabre and as much as I like it, it’s got a chunkier neck profile than the 1990 EB Sabre I owned in the nineties. It’s also heavier and doesn’t feel as sleek as what I remember my old one to be. I’m currently thinking of putting a Status replacement neck and hipshot ultralites on it to address some of the niggles I have with the bass.

The Ray 34CA was another notch up from the regular model imo. They’ve been discontinued for a few years now and prices have crept up a fair bit I sold mine to get a Classic Stingray but in hindsight there was very little in it other than the better (prettier?) woods used. My CA had the surf green finish with a tinted maple neck and a lovely, warm and very musical sounding 2EQ circuit. It didn’t go really clicky on the top end which was something I always liked about it. As well as this, It also ticked the Jazz bass profile neck on a MusicMan which I like too.

Lakland USA 44-64 PJ with 1.5” nut - *SOLD*
dub_junkie replied to Quatschmacher's topic in Basses For Sale
I easy played this as long as the Skyline Jazz I went to buy! At the time I was one of the unwashed when it came to Lakland, having never really played them before. So to play the skyline which was a great bass in its own right and then to have Peter tell me I could have a try of his USA Lakland P/J, well I was blown away by how good this bass felt, played and sounded. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the skyline I bought that day but I still remember just how lush this bass was. GLWTS! -
