  1. Paul bought a couple of pedals from me. As above, great guy to deal with. Thanks!
  2. A bump for this bad boy. This is an great speaker and ideal for a FRFR set up. It`s in great condition as well. The only reason for moving it on is I am not in a band the now and it`s not gonna change soon so am downsizing a bit.
  3. Look just stop it will you, I`m trying to resist I had one like yours from the same last batch and sold it twice and still miss it!
  4. I think that they all have their good days and bad, even Hermes or whatever they are called are good sometimes. I sent quite a few basses with APC with a shipper and never had any probs but I don`t think they move any parcels the size of guitars any more. And re the shorts. I deliver to building sites wearing shorts from April to about October of the year as do some of my fellow drivers and we are cool as feck!!
  5. My NM is a 2014 model and it had the newer bridge and not the baddass so pre 14?
  6. I love the Grateful Dead but only their music from 1970 till 1974. Can`t listen to anything outside those years for various reasons. And Cliff in the early 60`s and late 70`s.
  7. Hi there I can box it up for you but you would have to sort out a courier and with the mdf case, it`s quite a lump. At the price, it would be at the buyer`s risk and expense.
  8. I don`t know about the handiwork! By the way, there is a large handle on the side that I didn`t photo.
  9. As part of getting shot of stuff I don`t use, here`s a MAG head. It was originally part of a combo but as I stayed in a top flat at the time, I removed the head and built the case for it. It`s UK made from 2005. It hasn`t been used in a gig for about 4 years. It`s a bit tatty but hey it`s £20! It would be ideal for a spare or something to use at home. On the photo of the back, because one of the threads in the head that attach the head to the case was threaded, I had to put a bolt in it`s place and had to remove the bit of metal to get access to the bolt. Collection only from Paisley or if you want it posted, I can box it up and you can get a courier.
  10. Peterson Strobostomp Tuner for sale only. The Daddy of the all, does loads of things - see youtube clip. Brand new condition £85 posted to UK mainland.
  11. Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe for sale only. Good condition, a few marks that were there when I bought it. £130 posted to UK mainland, bank transfer or paypal f&f. Specs from Tech 21 below. NOTE: This can work from a 9 v battery or a 9volt DC Centre negative power supply. The Deluxe version of the SansAmp VT Bass features a combination of a warm, all-analog signal path and convenient digital recall. There are 6 program locations and dual inputs for two instruments to be on-line, ready to go. Create three custom tones for each input or use all six locations for a single instrument. And you can program the FX loop to engage your favorite effect each time a so-designated preset is selected. Super simple to operate, changes can easily be made on the fly –without having to refer to the owner’s manual. You just turn the knobs to a setting you like, double click on a footswitch and it’s saved in that channel. You can custom tweak and program six of your personal sounds, from vintage clean to gnarly overdrive to crushing distortion. The Character Series pedals take their mojo from the most respected amp tones on both sides of the Atlantic. These pedals don’t just have a single character, they have the whole cast, plot and curtain call. The Level and Drive controls work like a traditional, well-equipped amp. Low, Mid and High, however, are active, providing a wider array of tonal possibilities. Then there’s the Character knob, which is something quite unique. This continuously-variable control moves seamlessly between different model voicings, covering vintage, high-gain and face-melting lead tones. The Character and Mid controls, and the speaker emulations, are all engineered to personify the specific amplifier traits and speakers associated with each amplifier type. Put simply, we’ve crammed the entire lineage of each amp style into a funky little box.
  12. Used a few times as a stage monitor for bass before Covid and band break up. Nothing happening band wise so seeing if there is any interest for this. Really good condition, comes with the RCF cover. Collection from Paisley just outside Glasgow or will drive about an hour for a meet. £250 Specs 130 dB Max SPL 1400 WATT 2-way peak power Innovative DSP Processing 1" Compression Driver, 1.75" v.c. 15" Woofer 90°x60°, wide dispersion constant directivity horn FiRPHASE Technology https://www.getinthemix.com/sound-pa/speakers/active/rcf-art-715-a-mk4-pa-speaker.htm
  13. I would love to be in the 1 bass camp as I have no band and don`t feel like playing the bass that much at the moment. I recently bought a Sterling Musicman and could happily just use it and nothing else.
  14. Still a good price for a MM. GLWTS.
  15. They sometimes have some nice stuff in there but I find it a bit pricey and their descriptions of the items are terrible. Nice photo`s though.
  16. I had a conversation with Dave last year about my ABM 2 x 10 compact and he said the best thing to do was line the inside of the cab with that wool underlay that you can buy, 15 mm thick if I remember correctly. He says that it tightens up the low end. When I asked him if it was so good why don`t they do it when they build them? Cost was the answer.
  17. I did a deal years ago with @lawriemacmillan and he played with Stuart if I remember right. The guy was a great writer, guitarist and singer in the Skids and Big country. I still love the first BC album The Crossing. Sadly his personal demons got the better of him
  18. I should have guessed that it was Mexican from the Roadworn moniker. The black one I was a cracker, bought and sold again on here but weighed too much for me. The Custom shop 59 pickup was exc.
  19. Cracking bass you have there. Does it weigh the same as some of the Mexican versions - the weight of a small semi detached?
  20. I had a East in a Jazz a while back and it`s a great piece of kit. If he stuck his pre in a pedal, I would be in the que for one.
  21. "Sold as seen please study pictures well." I rather not if you don`t mind.
  22. A clip from Normans rare guitars talking about TH.
  23. I have a dvd recorded when they played T in the park in 2011 if I remember right. Great gig especially when Dave threw his black explorer and then tried to play it again and it was well gubbed. What a body of work, so many fantastic tunes, I only hope that after this tragic event they can return in some form.
  24. Well to be fair they did charge me £230 for a Squier Standard P bass and that was in 2001. I didn`t know any better.
