  1. MTD Kingston Saratoga Deluxe, 5st Deep Cherry Burst, matt Basswood - Flamed maple veneer - Maple - Rosewood 21 frets Zero fret 34" scale 44mm at nut 19 mm at bridge UPGRADES Bartolini HR-5.4AP/918 pre Bartolini 59CBJD-L3/LN3 pups Rosewood knobs Includes original pups and pre and gunmetal knobs Includes TGI Extreme gig bag It is with a heavy heart that I need to sell most of my gear. I've owned this bass from new and kept it pristine, other than one tiny piece of missing finish (pictured). I haven't gigged with it and it's only left the house to have the upgrades fitted. Currently strung with MTD rounds. This comes with a TGI Extreme gig bag (which I've not used) and Allen keys if I can find them. £750 and is priced to sell. *trade option added* Yamaha BB734a in good nick, with cash my way. Will reluctantly courier at the risk, cost and trouble of the buyer, but would prefer to deliver. Happy to drive 50 miles from Manchester for fuel costs. Ideally cash, but PayPal gift or bank transfer otherwise please Thanks for looking, Tobie
  2. Sandberg VM, 4st Greenburst, matt Ash - Maple 40mm nut 19mm at bridge 24 frets Zero fret Pearl block inlays Sandberg pups and 2-band pre Hi-mass bridge It is with a heavy heart that I need to sell most of my gear. I've owned this bass from new and kept it pristine. I have gigged with it (when possible) and what a player's instrument it is: versatile and a joy to play. The preamp is just so usable too. Currently strung with Dunlop Super Bright 40s. This comes with its original gig bag (which I've not used) and Allen keys if I can find them. I ordered the pearl plate direct from Sandberg and will include the original mint green one too. £800. This is for sale only due to financial circumstances and is priced to sell. Will reluctantly courier at the risk, cost and trouble of the buyer, but would prefer to deliver. Happy to drive 50 miles from Manchester for fuel costs. Ideally cash, but PayPal gift or bank transfer otherwise please. Thanks for looking, Tobie
  3. Very tempting Andy... Are you shifting the Reidmar too?
  4. 60mm across. Not sure of depth and I'm away at the moment but can check when I return next week. Cheers, Tobie
  5. Stunning! You don't see these often. Glwts
  6. Great stuff! That'll do me fine. Cheers!
  7. Does anyone have a reliable nut width for a Tribute LB-100? What's the neck profile like too? Cheers, Tobie
  8. And the perfect resolution! Enjoy
  9. That's a real shame, but glad to hear you returned it. I won't buy Fenders sight unseen anymore because I don't feel that I can trust the consistency of their qc.
  10. Has anyone had noise issues with these pups? Recently retrofitted to an MTD Kingston and I'm getting a faint click/hiss when the casings are touched. Cheers, Tobie
  11. Well, as previously and rightly concluded, the notion of a GOAT in any field is plainly balls... Personally, a few whom I have always found spellbinding: BB King, Clapton, Pat Metheny, Tony Rice, John Frusciante, George Benson, Django, Hendrix, John Martyn, SRV, John Mayer.
  12. In Levenshulme mate. No idea about the fate of the (undoubtedly very pointy) body!
  13. Generic high-mass bridge. Needs a clean, but nothing major. £10 posted UK Cheers, Tobie
  14. Ibanez TR Series neck in need of a little tlc. Grover tuners. Nut, string tree and Ibanez neck-plate included. Long-scale, maple with skunk stripe. 41mm at the nut and 60mm at the heel. Some dings and marks, but nothing significant (have tried to photograph). Frets and tuners need a good clean. Previous owner has filled and drilled. £60 (posted, UK 2nd), £50 collected Cheers, Tobie
  15. Seriously? Your contributions on here suggest that you're much better than this reductionist nonsense (and that's no slight on Mono Neon)...
