  1. Nice. You're right about the switches. they're replacements, as the originals are spade shaped, rather than rounded. Still a great bass for that price GLWTS
  2. I have a Hydrasynth Explorer, that I'm still to get into. From what I've discovered so far, it's a lot of synth for very little money. HTH
  3. ....and I sold mine for £50 (I bought it for the same price, so I wasn't losing anything) Very nice old yin GLWTS
  4. My first bass was a "Top Twenty" Woolworth's special. It had 3 strings, less a G when I got it, and stayed that way through every gig for the 2 years of that band. Don't get me wrong, I like the sound of a low B string, and I made sure I could get my thumb over it's very thin neck, but when cash is needed it's going.
  5. No. I was interested initially, but as I'm selling the very things I would use it with, there's no point. Very interesting though.
  6. Price Drop Now £600 + P&P, or £600 with your own courier Either way it will be well packed in it's case, packing and bass box. Paypal with fees, or bank transfer, whichever suits.
  7. See, that's the strange thing. I have no trouble with altered guitar tunings. Just the bloomin' fifth string. I have currently justified ( and yes, I'm Ancient) this point of view, with a "For Sale" ad
  8. Lost everything from early seventies up to the last band 17 years ago in a flood
  9. I bought a really nice Markbass 4 combo for a great price, via mail order from them. Great service and next day delivery thrown in 👍
  10. Unfortunately this looks as if it's going to Ebay on the next 80% fee deal,(it's already on Gumtree, but for Bass Chat I'll drop the price to £600+PP It's in a Ibanez case and I have a bass box and plenty of packing, so if you wanted to organize your own courier, that's fine by me Boxed and ready measurements (Bass in Ibanez case, in Ibanez box, in Bass box) 127cm x 55 x 12cm Weight 12.5kg Excellent condition Ibanez Premium SR1305 Five String Bass. It's never left our smoke free home, and has lived in it's Ibanez case for most of the time I've had it. I've tried my best, but a five string is not for me and I'd like some loot for my other ventures. I can't find a mark on this, apart from an very small indentation just behind the bridge, where I temporally had a GK3B on it (pic 5), and a very small mark on the body, but I think it's just part of the wood (pics 1 and 13). It plays well, sounds good, truss rod is fine. It does everything it should do. The details and pics are as follows : Neck type: Atlas-5 5pc Wenge/Bubinga neck w/KTS TITANIUM rods Body: Ash/Walnut top/Mahogany body Fretboard: Panga Panga fretboard w/Avalone Oval dot inlay Fret: Medium frets w/Premium fret edge treatment Bridge: Mono-rail V bridge Nut: Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut Neck pickup: Nordstrand "Big Single" 5 neck pickup Bridge pickup: Nordstrand "Big Single" 5 bridge pickup Active EQ: Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band eq w/Eq bypass switch & 3-way Mid frequency switch Hardware color: Gold Ibanez Hard/Soft case and Ibanez Bass Tool included Any questions, or more pics, just ask I have good feedback on here, and ebay. If you're in the vicinity, you're welcome to pop in and demo it. Posting would need to be discussed, as I'm in Scotland. UK only sale, due to you what.
  11. I usually hate single cuts, but this one does it for me. GLWTS
  12. Jim Harley ? The illegitimate offspring of a Jim Deacon and Harley Benton perhaps ?
  13. I haven't seen the video, but noticed this when I was taking pics of the Ibbys I had for sale for a while. Very handy option.
