    Neural Quad Cortex

Got mine just after Christmas. It's a "Limited Edition" in black sparkle with gold footswitches, though I would have been happy with the classy, grey version as it was just the 3 that were in stock and they were all SE. Just the same price as the "normal" QC though Looking forward to getting tore in after tomorrow.
  2. That looks like the one I had. It was a really nice bass. GLWTS
  3. See above I knew it was an SB, (as Ive had a few, Aria SBs not drinks ) but for some reason typed SR (probably my Ibanez fixation), but definitely convinced myself it was 800 Maybe its my brain and not my eyes. Anyway, I've used Securus, but haven't had to make a claim, and their prices are reasonable
  4. I'll have to get new glasses. I read that as SR800 Mucho apologies Merry Christmas
  5. I use Parcelforce 24/48, but get external insurance from Secursus Parcel Insurance BTW I'm probably wrong, but isn't that a SR600 ? I thought everything up from that was neck through ?
  6. I always knew it would come down to an Ibby at that price Thanks, but I couldn't have a Hofner Violin copy, having once had the real thing. It would just remind me of my stupidity in selling it Not that bothered about the fretless conclusion, but would like to know what people think of Ibanez's short five string ?
  7. I wondered about that that too. I do have a 34" Ibanez, but would like to know what's available in a short scale. Also 5 string. is the bottom string too floppy on a shorty, or medium scale ? I was thinking of maybe £500 used
  8. I loved mine and would love to find the pre amp version GLWTS

    MM Stingray 62

Mick bought my Aeros Looper, and was very friendly, informative, and a great advert for Basschat. Thanks, Peter
  10. Bargain for somebody. The bass programs are really good. One of these and a HX Stomp, and you'd have the mini board from Hell 😈
  11. I gigged a 4 string version of this in a metallic candy red finish for about three years, sometimes doing 2 gigs a day, 6days a week. It not only lasted the course, but sounded great. GLWTS
  12. Arrgh ! I sold a wee Sterling Ray recently, that may have suited you Typical. However, I know I don't need a fiver, but the finish is so good...... GLWTT
  13. Must agree, it can be hard for some employees. I always liked our customers...….pity I couldn't say the same for my boss. I did notice the longer I was there (14 years or thereabouts, part time, then full time), I tended to lose interest in some stuff like PA, but you have to have it in you to like people, and enjoy what you're doing. However, the whole shop atmosphere can be poisoned, if somebody decides to take their problems out on the rest of the staff.
  14. NOW £200 POSTED OR £175 COLLECTED, OR WHY NOW £225 POSTED, OR £200 COLLECTED NOW £250 POSTED, or £230 COLLECTED This is a 61 note midi keyboard with velocity, aftertouch, pitch and modulation strips. 8 assignable control knobs for midi etc USB 2, sustain and expression pedal sockets, full size midi in/outs, Kensington lock socket, and inclded power supply. It also has DAW transport controls, navigation controls, and arpeggiator. It works perfectly with any software, DAW, midi hardware, but where it really shines is with the Native Instrument's Komplete Kontrol software. The key lights will then show key switches, scales (including user) and more It is a S61 mk1, meaning it can be used with any current NI software including any version of Komplete Kontrol apart from v3. (which is for the mk2 and mk3. currently about £450 and £749, that's why this is £250), but v2.94 is only this year, and everything else works great, Kompete, Komplete Player, Kontakt, etc. The keyboard is in excellent condition, works perfectly, but may have a couple of very light scratches. It's a metal chassis, so isn't the lightest (6.8kg), so obviously would prefer pickup, but can post as have boxes, free. for collection, take off £20 However, the pics do make it look a wee bit dusty. I have good feedback here, and on eBay under the same name
  15. I never iron T shirts <coat on, door open/>
  16. Once again, @Woodinblack to the rescue with his encyclopedic knowledge of SR basses I stand corrected, and doth the bunnet
