Im with mcnach i wouldnt be putting up with a lot of that myself especially when pulling out on the day with no prior notice also unless the guitarist wife is seriously ill and needs nursing then why does he have to cancel and 3 times ! .. it doesnt bode well for the future .. my mrs would want me out of the way if she was ill !

Yep as Grangur say's dont bother doing anything until you have a bass amp i have had a big fat dub sound from the same bass in the past with a slight bass boost and mid and treble cut a bit using old roundwounds...its not the bass

just about all the best musicians i have known without exception had one thing in common and that was that they generally found something positive and kept an open mind to just about any player/music they came across.
