  1. mine froze again ,took it back to shop where it done the same thing [lights on and no sound] they sorted it out apparently with a software update ! so my worry now is what if it needs software update mid gig ? Not impressed
  2. Thanks for this Miki ,I found it really useful, it seems to me the high end basses dont stand out soundwise ,and the Jb road worn, and yamaha done it for me .Lovely job cheers.
  3. nice job Johan, I liked the stagg to,is this a budget model or are the old ones superior ? The jaguar sounded great to me to ,nice playing.
  4. nice job johan, for me its the pbass then the jazz, and EB2 would be nice to hear them clean as well though.
  5. just had a listen with some different earphones[closed back panasonic] which tend to be more bassy than sony's used preveiosly and kinda got Nigels point ,for me lollipop could come down a notch, bottomless shoes, spot on and bombarder maybe e.q. low end down a fraction ,but mostly what i noticed was how strong your stuff is . think Im gonna be arming my pbass with some flats as well as the jazz when entering studio next!
  6. I to thought this was a spoof,in fact its so bad i havent even heard my teenage daughter playing it! kinda reminds me of some over sentimental soft rock rubbish from the 80s ,and i imagine the target audience is predominately white teenagers not black america at all.
  7. through earphones they sound well balanced bass just right ,maybe through studio monitors or good speakers its more subby but im not getting to much bass for reggae
  8. real nice stuff ,loving it, did you D.I.out ,and mik the amp to get your sound, and are you using flats or rounds?
  9. sorry only just found out about feedback so somewhat belated praise for top man to deal with ,have confidence when dealing with him.
  10. cracking bass from a lovely fella ,dont hesitate to deal with him. also possibly the greatest living bassplayer [self excluded obviousely]!
  11. took mine back to shop after it seemed to freeze and it worked perfectly and has done ever since .'maybe i just had a mature moment ' I tend to agree with phil white theres nothing muddy or fluffy about this amp i find it really clear and articulate . I would also recommend andrew levys basement bash for the toneprint its subtle and very usable. Great amp.
  12. ive had mine a week and it sounded very good overall ,only issue for me was the so called intelligent eq doesnt really let you dial down mids and boost lows for a reggae dub sound, however today it seems to have frozen' lights on and nobody home'no sound at all so its going back .needless to say im not impressed has anyone else had same problem?
