2.
Cheers Tim. The bass is my SWB-1. I came up with the design after years of trying/modding almost every type of bass under the sun and had it built by Brian Eastwood. Here's a link to a video all about it...
Thanks for the reply Scott, thats a cracking bass and i like pickup position makes much more sense to me .
 3. Bargain ! I have one of these ,it plays great and is my lightest bass .
 4. Great lesson Scott, and I love the use of the d flat !...what is the bassyour playing ?
 5. Im still waiting for some cosmic vibes to hit me at moment ,it worked for Sun Ra !
 6.
I once learned 'Canned Heat' for an audition. In my opinion the bass line is needlessly busy and complicated given its overall contribution to the song.
Did you get the gig or was you back on the road again afterward ?
 7.
My babies
Thats just silly
 8.
Morning all. I'm in mid-Wales on a work trip and have minimal mobile/Internet connection. I've just quickly tested Tim's link on my phone and a colleague's laptop and it seems to be working fine. Is anyone else having problems with it? UPDATE: quickly stopped at a cafe with in Aberystwyth with WiFi... tested the link on another laptop and sure enough there's no sound when the track plays in Safari, but there is via Firefox. Weird!! Must be a browser issue of some kind. I've just re-attached the link at the start of this thread and it now seems to be working fine. Very sorry Tim! I used Firefox myself, but I'll make sure the links get tested in Safari in future.
No problem Paul thanks for sorting it mate.
 9.
Tim has been heavily influenced by John Cage.
sssssshhhhhhhhhh
 10.
Strange, I listened to all of them and when I got to timhiggins, it didn't make any sound. I knew there was something wrong, as there were comments, but no sound. Then my wife tried it, no sound. Then i tried it in firefox, it worked. So they all worked in safari apart from that one, which worked in firefox..
No I didnt cover 4minutes and 33 seconds of silence ,I did wonder why i had stopped getting votes after a flying start i reckon the fix is in !
 11. Thats lovely ,is there chorus on there ?

 14.
Hi, Mines finished but i can't tell whether the track is distorting/clipping. I'm having latency issues and ain't sure if my headphones are on the way out or not. could you all just have a listen to this section of the piece and tell me what you think. Thank you very much! https://soundcloud.c...ded-ted/section
I concur with dad, it sounds like its clipping /peaking ...sounded great though !
 15. Thats a great deal ,and i hear all good things about these g.l.w.t.s
 16. I think you have to feel it with reggae, and the end section has that Dawn penn' no no no' feel to me ,which whether played straight or with a triplet feel is a great way to 'get it' ...hope that made some sorta sense
 17. sounds like a great deal...is it just a cab your after or are you interested in a head to ?
