Finally, someone says what we all knew already

Yeh - I have seen people busking (notably also with violins) who were playing really well when there hands weren't. I guess its like those sand dog sculptures that are all fake, just a way of making money for people without those tallents. Sad really as I intrinsicly don't trust them now. There was a guy down town yesterday doing showtunes to a backing tape. He was actually very good, but I initially assumed he was just miming to the whole thing. -
I can't imagine it would be possible to detect any sound difference by changing a bridge! But now I look at those figures it is tempting, my euro weighs quite a lot

Yes, always handy, but remember this doesn't help with a man in the middle attack as you are not talking to the person with the feedback

Good plan, I will make a hawkwind tribute called Motorhead I guess it would be a better name than Lost Johnny!

Unless they are controlled by builders, who for some reason need to play whatever mainstream music station as loud as it can be played. -
Ah we just did masters of the universe and you shouldn't do that.

Its a nice place to do a outdoor gig in the little building they have out the back there.

Me too - I did a couple of songs once as a one off

I would happily go and see a pink floyd tribute that did meddle and promised not to do money!

Private messages? No there is no issue with those. This is a problem as described above based on public messages

I had that feeling with "The Music Box" or whatever it is, the genesis tribute, very much like the videos of genesis back in the day but it left me a bit cold. But then I saw Steve Hackett doing some of the same songs and they had way more life, but weren't true to the original, because they are his songs and he doesn't have to do them like that. Was always my issue with tributes really, the original group doesn't have to make it like the album, where the tributes do

Last but one time I tried to buy a keyboard from PMT was when they went through their 'lets not put prices on things so people can't compare us with the internet'. There were no staff around, I looked, they had a DX which is what I was after, but no price. So I didn't bother, I just assumed it was because it was way overpriced. I found out later they were equal to the best price, so I would have bought it then. Then next time I tried to buy a keyboard from PMT, again, there were no staff around. The Argon i was looking at was there, it took a while to wrok out how to get sound through their mixer, and I quite liked it, but I had a limited time, and it was loud with other people playing so I didn't get it. I got it some time later. I don't remember who, may have even been them. Wasn't good either way. Soon after that they moved (the bristol branch) to a place where I would have to go out of my way to get to, so I simply don't get there any more - bought my ME90B from there as I was going to bristol, I knew I wanted it and it was worth stopping to pick it up so I could use it that day.

Glad to hear you got your money back, it is not that common, so well done

It is.

This refers almost directly to the midget cab

The only feature the air has is the wireless keyboard, which works pretty well, and an aditional midi interface (as well as USB) so you don't need a separate Midi interface (not an issue for you as you got the Behringinger, which I also have, but only for the Audio ins). A 25 key keyboard still has its use live, for lead lines, and the fact that you can fit it anywhere
